We chose to eat in the bar area, but there is also a more laid-back dining area available. The service was outstanding, with Toni taking care of our needs at our desired pace. The menu mainly consists of classic pub dishes, which are occasionally updated. I had the steak pie, which was a hearty, traditional pie with a proper crust, not just puff pastry on top. For dessert, I opted for the apple crumble with custard, and it was absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable considering the restaurant's location."

Always dependable and fun. Went down for the Friday night meat raffle and it's a great atmosphere. Holly and Dan were kind and efficient, with a great sense of humour. Lovely local pub.

We had two takeaway roast dinner, My husband collected it. The food was hot and delicious. Meat very tender. Plenty of veg and lovely yorkshire puddings. Well done. We will certainly do that again.
