"We went to Flint House for a work dinner and were impressed by the lovely setting, with cozy lighting and music. We opted for the Chef's Menu, a 5-course meal, and some of us also chose the wine pairing. Every dish was delicious, and we highly recommend this menu, especially with the wine pairing. It was a memorable experience. The only issue was that our booking was for a 2.5-hour slot, which felt a bit tight with the 5-course menu. We had to be moved to another table 10 minutes before our time was up to make room for another reservation, but we were able to stay at an empty table downstairs as long as we wanted. A 3-hour slot may have been more appropriate for a 5-course meal. Despite this minor inconvenience, we had a great time and plan to come back in the future. The service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Recommended dishes: With Wine Pairing. Price range: £60-70 per person. Meal type: Dinner."

"Thanks to the TripAdvisor reviews we booked a table upstairs, which is small but cosy. From the friendly welcome the service was superb throughout and the food was absolutely excellent. We chose the mussels and fishcakes to start followed by a papaya salad, chilli prawn stir fry and a dry prawn curry. All the dishes were delicious and the bill, including a beer, glass of wine, a large bottle of sparkling water and service, was £68. We will definitely return."

"I'm not an avid reviewer, so to feel the need to write up feedback on this wonderful cafe is a very telling sign on just how special this place is. I came here with my partner for a quick lunch. We each ordered a meze plate, served by a very friendly and smiling gentleman, and was told to wait upstairs for it to be brought up to us. The service was speedy, the waitress offered us water, to which she brought over a big glass bottle full. This food we were told is all made fresh daily, and you can tell. Every single part of this meal was delicious and left us feeling like we'd had a health kick, which was a lovely way to end a very wholesome weekend. We will most certainly be back, to try more of what they have to offer, and I will be throwing out recommendations left right and centre. Thank you Sunbirds."

"I went in because my first impression of the shop from the window was it being a clean authentic looking coffee shop with a tempting display of variety of pastries and cakes that looked freshly made…… I WAS RIGHT !! I now go in on regular basis for my coffee and a little treat because of the friendly atmosphere yet respectful of your space. My favourite with coffee is the Pistachio Cheesecake that’s garnished with “fresh” pistachios on top, and Borek (pastry filled with feta cheese spinach). I would highly recommend this place if you want to have good beverage and delicious fresh food, along with the authentic vibe. I love it !!!"

"Lovely friendly restaurant with a fusion of modern and traditional Indian style throughout. All veggie with lots of vegan vegan options items clearly marked on the menu. Beautifully presented food with great fresh flavours. We had spinach and onion patties and spicy Mogo chips for starters. Both came with delicious chutneys and dips. Channa main dish was a good spicy curry served with rice, bread and salad, thali style. The dhosa was a nice crisp pancake with tasty potato curry, chutneys and lentil soup side the soup was sweet and spicy, much nicer than many others I've been given with dhosa in other places. The staff were great, just the right level of attentiveness, and brought us vegan Indian sweets at the end of the meal, which they explained were made using their mother's recipe. One was a date and nut sugar free square and the other was a Cashew nut marzipan. Already our favourite Indian restaurant in Brighton!"
