"We were spontaneously eating in the Volmerwerther Krug, although we actually wanted to reserve a table. It is a cosy ambience and good-bourgeois cuisine at fair prices. This time I had fresh Walbeck asparagus with fresh potatoes and ham with Sauce Hollandaise. A very tidy portion and irresistibly delicious. My husband had a pancake with bacon and cheese baked. This too was very fine. He had a salad from Büffet. There is also bread, this time with a tuna cream and olives. Every time we eat here, we were very happy. The food has a good quality and is very tasty. The service is nice and accommodating. The ambience is relaxed and cozy. We always feel very comfortable and look forward to the next time."

Very tasty, grounded and friendly-familiary is our Volmerswerther Krug. He's been accommodating us for generations. The current brewery concept is just another stylistic instrument, but it goes very well.

The restaurant is very good and has a beautiful outdoor area. The boss and the service are very friendly. The 2 restaurant Haus Massenberg which is run by the children is also very good. You can eat very good citizens there and are suitable for young people.
