"Ate in the restaurant here on Saturday night and it was so lovely. V friendly waitress (ginger girl). Had the steak and ale pie (LOADS of onions, not much steak and a lot of pastry so bear this in mind if you want a meat heavy pie but the few chunks that were in there were v tender). But the veg that came with the pie was delicious, not overdone like most pub meals! My friend had the pork belly bao burger. She said the meat was really nice, but the whole thing a bit too tangy? The fries were v good. We shared the kinder cookie dough dessert but it was a bit overdone, more of a cookie than cookie dough. Wish we got the Biscoff bread and butter pudding! But it’s a really nice pub, the Malbec was delicious and was bustling on a rainy sat night."

"This restaurant is always a favorite of mine. One dish stood out as being particularly delicious, but every item on the menu was tasty. "Got to say what an amazing local pub to go for a drink and food! From the moment you walk in and welcomed by the landlord to the amazing food that’s served it’s a complete delight! I totally recommend Lisa’s cottage pie it’s the best I’ve ever eaten and the prices are totally affordable unlike a lot of these chain pubs that give you a scrawny portion and charge you the earth for it! Dog friendly to as an added bonus! Thank you for a lovely night we will be back ASAP!"

"visited a few weeks ago after reading the reviews. the reservation was for us and we arrived shortly before. restaurant beautiful made with lots of space between tables and large table for four people we really like. sa, waiting for about minutes before...we were asked if we want water/drinks. water came, but drinks were still a few minutes. Finally, the menus and the dame that took the commands arrived almost immediately to ask what we said we were not ready and then waited a few minutes to order. the starters arrived at which it was good. the most important courses were average and for over the filet steak was definitiw not and just sat on a large plate with a few frozen chips around it scattered a bit garn / rakete / moschus / tomaten could have been included for this price? the accompanying salate was dried in the dressur. it seemed that only the lady lady who took orders when the other girls stood safe when the menu is so limited that they could trust to take an order! yes, they were busy (saturday night), but don't take them as many bookings if they don't deal with them as human as we don't return."

"I went with my parents and partner to have a steak lunch on Sunday, December 3rd. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a Christmas feel and very family-friendly. The service was good, although there was one mistake that was quickly fixed and we received apologies. Overall, I would give it a 4 out of 5. The food was excellent, we all had different steaks which were all delicious. I always recommend this place to others, especially for the amazing beef dripping sauce.
