"there was only one vegan main and one vegan side option available on the menu when we went. i ordered a yasai katsu and it came without the red pickles and the rice was undercooked. i also ordered the mushroom buns which came without coriander and was served with a chilli sauce instead of the mayonnaise which was on the menu??? i questioned it but the server said that the mayo wasn’t vegan but i was confused at why it would be on the menu if not and why were not asked if we’d be okay with the alternative chilli sauce which was too spicy for me. my brother is veggie and he ordered the yasai yaki soba which was so dry and lacking sauce. i’m so disappointed as the other wagamamas i have been to have been so much better!"

Wagamama this time around is not what I remembered it to be a few years agoThe ramen broth was flavourless and the noodles had a bad texture.

Tasty food served quickly with friendly service. Unlike many other restaurants in Victoria Square no booking required which is good if you want to eat when you feel like it. Ver carta

nicely furnished for social distancing. the place was quite busy when we arrived there, but eating came fast and all the dishes were delicious. wagamama is not the best Asian restaurant in the city, but would definitely recommend it if it around!

Laid back atmosphere. The food is fresh and tasty. It's served as it's made rather than trying to keep it warm while other dishes are prepared. Definitely recommend visiting here. Waiter got part of my order wrong and brought the wrong dish. He let us keep the wrong dish and brought the correct one but charged us for both.

the service was not the best in this wagamama, although one of the girls that brought us to our place gave me some of their favorite options as she was a vegan, which was nice. I myself and my dinner partner both ordered a gin and tonicum and was given only to the gin, although it was stated that it came with tonicum of our choice and there was no possibility to buy a tonic on it itself. that was nice to eat. it is a scandal that it was not as many vegan options as other wagamama I was. My husband and I enjoy Wagamama and always call when shopping in Belfast. The food was great as always. We had a problem at our table with difficult customers sitting beside us. I quietly asked a server could we move table. The speed at which our request was filed was incredible. The two servers were discrete and efficient so as to not cause any embarrassment to us or the couple seated beside us, who were clearly having a difficult afternoon. I would just like to thank our waiting staff who made sure we had a wonderful meal in the end

We had eaten at so many Wagamamas before the pandemic but this was only our second in a few years. We were in the shopping centre escaping the rain in Belfast and this looked our best option for lunch. It looked closed as we turned up as no one was sitting at the ‘outside’ tables but it was open and were soon sitting at one of their famous long tables. It took a while for someone to take our order and was taken with zero enthusiasm from the waiter! We just ordered a plate each I had the chilli chicken ramen and my wife the chicken donburi. Both were well prepared and tasted great a good quantity for the money and set us up for an afternoon of shopping/sightseeing in Belfast.

"enjoyed our evening in james st it was the best culinary experience of our trip! we had been happy to see this evening as we had a few hit-N-seals in the course of our trip to belfast. we were not disappointed and had the fabulous evening. we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the place is beautiful and spacious. revitalized and environment. the bar is great and would like to come back, only for drinks at the bar sometime. we ordered cocktails immediately. an Irish gin negroni and a traditional old fashion. my neger was absolutely excellent. I think the old fashion could have been done with real sugar cubes and not sugar syrup, but it wasn't too bad. we were quick to choose our wein. we chose a beautiful juicy red, the cline, the old vine zinfandel, 2019. to begin we had the ham hock terrine with piccalilli champ bread and some scallops with boar bell. the hanging-hock court was the best ham-hock I had. the homemade piccalilli was something else. really nice crispy and sharp sharp to help cut through the hammock and the champbrot was delicious crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the scallops and black bells were disappointing, as they lacked no salt or genuine aroma or texture between them. we still ate it and shared the rest of my hammock. we both decided to go for the co. tyrone 270g fillet steak with sides of champ and truffle parmesan chips. red wine and pfeffer sauce. they were fantastic steaks. Actually, I didn't think I would finish mine, but I did. I have met the right choice with the jus and the truffle chips. they went so well together, the dryness of the parmesan and sweet, slightly greasy of the jus. the steaks were perfectly cooked. a medium and my medium rare. fantastic aroma on the grilled outside of the steak and beautiful texture when they pierce. we both agreed that the champ was the best champ we ever cost. it was hot, soft, so well aromatized with hot butter on the top of the copper serving pot melt. it was really the most incredible champ. I was too full of dessert. but my sample ordered the sticky toffee pudding sundae. the team was friendly enough to make me an espresso martini that was both decaf and not a sugar syrup. it was brilliant. we both managed to work our way, although a surprisingly light sticky toast desserts on Sunday. the team was fantastic. very friendly and chatting to us. the bar team did not stop, I had the pleasure of standing and watching them make a great selection of drinks and cocktails. the waiting staff were also very friendly when they check in with us at comfortable places to ensure that we were in order. we felt very well looked around. the service was very good, we didn't feel any hurry, it felt like such a free time in this restaurant. when we come back to belfast, we will be back in absolute terms and we will definitely recommend others. Thank you."
