Wir waren das erste Mal im Waldwerk zum Frühstück am Sonntag und haben die Ruhe mit dem schönen Ausblick in die Natur sehr genossen. Das Essen war fantastisch! Und alle waren sehr hundefreundlich wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

According to our feeling too expensive for kitchen performance The price increase due to the VAT increase of about 2-3€ per dish/menu can be explained. The food is very good, but I didn't like a few other things. The room has the charm of a breakfast room, which it is probably also, but eating for nice evening is just nothing. It is sometimes quite loud, which is probably on the bare walls. I had the meat menu with a vegetarian main course and paid the full price, that was too expensive. The service was not so helpful and did not make a very knowledgeable impression. Beverages also quite expensive.

Under no circumstances follow Google navigation; This ends in front of a barrier in the forest approx. 600m from the hotel! The hotel is chic, nice spacious layout/architecture; The seminar rooms were only supplied with fresh air via skylights/patio doors the air was correspondingly bad. The service was good, the food was very tasty and varied. At lunchtime it should have been significantly more; Some seminar participants came away empty handed (No Go! The location is very decentralized and can only be easily reached by car. Once you arrive, it is quiet and idyllic.

Wonderful house in a quiet location with beautiful rooms, very fine, creative cuisine, a rich breakfast buffet and very friendly, committed staff. The name FREIgeist really says it all. Rooms: Beautiful rooms with a view of the greenery. Windows can be opened completely and thus access to the starry sky, wonderfully fresh forest air and the sounds of nature. Food drinks: Rich breakfast buffet with some unusual products and great attention to detail. The dinner was very high quality with imaginative creations using many regional and seasonal components.
