Wang - Carta

The asian restaurant is very good! The food is special and Mr. Wang is nice. I was in Geneva in October 2015. I plan to return soon.

We ordered Crispy Fried Beef and Canard Laqué, we received 4 pieces of Duck fried to the point of no return and the Beef tasted like rubber. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I had a veg wanton soup as a starter, which was ok, a sea weed salad that I found tasty and a super delicious Mapo tofu. Portions are smaller than in the average Chinese restaurant but the food was good, the place clean and the service correct. Ver carta

The comments I've read about the restaurant so far were bad. I really want to contradict them. Dinner was more than right, the owner was attentive to us and really worked out his heart. In addition, with the fork, the bill ended to be more completely affordable. I'd come back.

Ok, with my wife and son I wanted to try out this new asiatic restaurant. 3 starters, 3 entrees, 5 drinks for Chf 136. !!!!! The food was probably frozen and recooked, presentation was very lame, the fried beef was not good, the roast duck had more bone than meat. Never again.

Restaurant Wang is a little gem of a restaurant and serves all manner of Chinese food. We had the Shredded Beef, Curry Tofu Veggies, some steamed pork dumplings and, of course, the Sweet Sour Pork. All of which, while not the best in the world, was yummy, tasty and totally hit the spot. Definitely worth going especially when traveling through Geneva like we were and in need of an Asian food fix. Ver carta

Mr. Wang's Chinese restaurant is always impeccably clean and orderly almost inconspicuous, despite its superb location. Perhaps that is the reason why it is usually rather empty, which is a shame because the owner and his family are very friendly and serve superb Chinese food. A la carte throughout opening hours, buffet style only for lunch. Just a tad more decoration and some gentle Chinese music would enhance the good impression left by the food (on Chinese clients). Mr. Wang's can definitely be recommended for the food, but other restaurants are more lively.

I ate in this nice restaurant with some friends. The place is simple but lovely and the staff is just adorable. We ordered some delicious dim sums, which are better than in most of the other asian restaurants. This goes without saying as I saw the chef making dim sums when we arrived. Yes, everything is homemade. Then, we took the red curry chicken, the crispy beef and the crispy duck, which are all excellent. If my stomach had allowed me to eat more, I would have tasted more dishes with pleasure. I don't understand why it was almost empty because this restaurant has to be known for its amazing food!

Was returning from my Saturday afternoon/evening walk and passed by this cafe. After a bit of thought decided to try it and was very happy we did. The food was authentic and tasted like true Chinese, not adapted for foreginers. The XiaoLongBao were some of the best I had outside of China. The skin was a bit thick but that was made up be the excellent and authentic flavour of the filling and the soup inside. The Hot and Sour soup was also very good and the spicy tofu was genuinely flavoured with real Chinese spices and peppers. Definitely a hit. Service was friendly and everything cooked to order. Such a pleasure and will definitely make it a regular. Ver carta
