"We were on our way to restaurant altes haus, but this was closed on Wednesdays. From a previous visit to bacharach, we knew there was another whiff restaurant, so we went to check it out. It was very hot and we sat in where it was a little cooler. Under the pleasure of a cold beer, the dishes were picked out. It became something with pork for one and a Zeus-teller with a lot of lamb for the other. Both the dishes were delicious and more than you can actually eat. Good of taste and mals of texture. I can now recommend this restaurant with my own experience in one. The institution or clothing is what's on the sober side."

"Today in Bacharach it was a damp rainy day and as the Hotel am Market was open we decided to stop by for lunch. We were not disappointed by this at all. We both started with their Chanterelle Mushroom soup which was very rich and satisfying considering the weather we experienced. I had their salad which also had chanterelle mushrooms which was a very generous serving. My partner had the spaghetti with chanterelle mushrooms which was very satisfying as well. Service was friendly and efficient. Only downside was the Milch Kaffee which needed a more robust coffee bean. I would return here at a later date to try their homemade desserts which looked very decadent"

"we had spent the day to cycle the Rhine, so we decided to stop here for dinner at last, as we had smelled their delicious aroma at some other places... and we were not disappointed! we shared both a starter and a pizza and were then both pleasantly satisfied as the portions are generous. we found our pizza however quite salty, but that was our own fault in our selection of coverings. we would definitely recommend this hotel if they have pleasure in Italian cuisine."

"this restaurant offers a beautiful courtyard for summer evenings. the service is friendly and professional. they speak English, but they can find the English menu online. the wine map is extensive with a mix of local weeping (from above) and other European sites. all too reasonable praise. we ordered the evening menu with a clear suppe with knödeln, schweinefilets with champignon cream and late zle (a kind of eiernudel) and a cream brûlée as dessert. Apart from the fact that the filets were somewhat boiled, all are of good portion and delicious."

"We spent three days in Bacharach, and this was one of our favorite meals! We didn't do the full 15-variety wine carousel, but instead chose to do the 7-variety "Estare Wines" sampler. I got a cheese and bread plate to go with it, which was huge! I ended up taking almost half of it back to my guesthouse and eating it later on the balcony with a bottle of Reisling that I picked up at the affiliated wine shop a few doors down from the restaurant."
