Took our grandchildren for lunch had medium meals loved it.About £11 each all the food coming out of kitchen look so tasty.

I visited Wendy’s Place today and had a very nice lunch, what I like about this place Is the lovely staff and great atmosphere. On top of that the food was very tasty and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit to Wendy’s Place you will not be disappointed.

Hidden gem in Sunderland, food was really tasty and the potions were huge for the price. The cafe is spotlessly clean and very cosy. The staff are so lovely too they came round and had a chat before the food arrived and were really great with our little girl who was made to feel very special.

We called into wrndy,s for lunch while shopping. Both selected pie chips mushy peas and teas. Staff very friendly and place clean and very nice. I selected large and wife selected small. Meal was good with home made chips. Only down side was it was a bit pricey for the size of the dinners but very welcome on a cold and wet day

I was part of a group of 11. We turned up un announced and we all ordered a cooked meal. We did arrive just in time as it got quite busy. . The staff were warm and welcoming. Considering the size of the group the food arrived promptly. All the food was tasty and hot and we all enjoyed our meals. Definitely added to our places to revisit. Thank you. Next time we will call ahead.

Found this gem of a place a few years ago and if I’m in Sunderland city centre this is where I go for food. Firstly the staff are so friendly and nice. The food is home cooked and so good yum. I took my mother and she had the quiche I opted for mince pie which was large portion and came with a drink. My mother wanted the smaller plate with her quiche. All the food was amazing especially the chips, proper chips. They also serve alcohol my mother had a Malibu and coke. It’s easy to find it’s round the corner from the bridges opposite the flannels shop. Only thing I would suggest is the option of a gravy boat instead of the gravy poured onto the meal as some people prefer to put their own gravy...
