I had a wonderful experience dining here with family due to the excellent service of all the staff. The food was cooked fantastically.

Fabulous lunch menu, the food and service were excellent. Definitely a venue we will return to. So glad to be able to order at your table and be served drinks and food. No stupid app or queuing for drinks as many pubs have changed to. Ver carta

Family of 6 visited on a lovely Sunday. I was the awkward one that never had the Sunday dinner. The other 5 did and all said it was spot on. I must admit I wish I'd had it. Anyhow I ordered fish chips, which I've had before but to my astonishment I could clearly see that a quarter of the fish had been cut off. To be fair it was gorgeous but I feel hard done by, as usual a full fish is plated up. I will bring this up next time I visit.

We have been here many times before in fact my family and myself are on there website, so we attended on Sunday for a pre Christmas get together. It was 2pm so still early in the day, out of the 6 of us 3 wanted the meatpie, only to be told they didn't have any!,so we all had turkey, soon after us ordering they also ran out of turkey, leaving only a butternut squash meal and something else,,2 couples sent there meals back because they were cold. Overall it was very disappointing unfortunately.

A fantastic pub/ restaurant. We visited for a late lunch/ afternoon Tea to celebrate a birthday, we had a fabulous experience. It was quiet but the waiting staff were absolutely superb attentive ,looking after people in an extremely friendly and approachable . The food was very excellent , very good value and the quality was very outstanding. We had two pies one chicken and one steak which were very good. one had a hunter’s chicken and I had kebabs/ skewers all of which were cooked perfectly .We were all more than happy with the quality and standard of our meals. There was a good range of options for children as well. We’ll definitely be back again, and again. Ver carta
