My family have raved about the afternoon tea in the past but it doesn’t seem to be as wow as it was previously. It was very good but the bread on the sandwiches was going hard on some so had been sitting out and the fillings could be a bit tastier (I think they used to give more sandwiches too). The cakes and service were good. Reasonable price about £19 I think.

Enjoyed an absolutely lovely pre christmas meal for a party of 8 on Christmas Eve. Extensive choice and food, atmosphere and pleasant staff were outstanding. Very reasonably priced for the high quality we received and they even offered special seasonal cocktails and drinks which was a lovely touch. A real gem. We will definitely be back to try the Turra Coo burger! Highly recommended.

The restaurant has always had a good reputation but I always found it rather expensive. However I went along at the invite of a friend who told me they serve small plates on Pensioner Friday and I was delighted to get a decent size of meal at a very affordable price! The food was fresh and piping hot, the coffee likewise, and the staff were lovely. This will now be a weekly lunch venue with my chums! Ver carta

The White Heather Hotel is centrally located in Turriff. The dining area is nicely laid out and has a modern minimalistic feel about it. Service was quick and friendly and there was a wide ranging menu plus specials, all reasonably priced. Most importantly our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our meal. As we had not seen our friends for some time we sat chatting after the meal and we were not rushed out of the hotel by the staff, which has happened in the past to us. Recommended

My family and I came to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea. The dining area was spacious enough to accommodate a large family and had room for other guests as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious vegan sandwiches, hot dishes, and cakes offered. The venue was clean and modern, making our experience enjoyable. The staff was busy but still managed to provide attentive and friendly service. I would definitely return to this restaurant and recommend it to others.

My partner ordered macaroni and onion rings, was very nice, waitress was nice and polite. I ordered the Ribeye done medium with surf and turf, received it well done and tough as an old boot, had it sent back and received the same again as a replacement, cooked ever so slightly less well done but still incredibly tough and unpleasant. Owner/manager proceeded to tell me it was my opinion and I was wrong and that the steak was perfectly fine and he had no complaints before, they refused to taste the steak to see how terribly tough it was. The owner was incredibly arrogant towards me regarding the complaint and had the audacity to charge me full price for the steak. I had two bites over all and... Ver carta
