"Dreadful experience… This restaurant has questionable standards, mediocre food quality, warmed up by basic chefs. If you’re looking for high quality Indian food, this is not the place to go. Ordered a Cobra with the food and saw the owner top the pint with another draft beer as it was flat. I sent it back explaining I didn't want a blend of beers and ended up with a flat pint of Cobra. If they are prepared to behave like this in front of customers, what are they prepared to do in the kitchen. Ordered a Chicken Shashlik (my favourite dish). Was appalled how it was served. It consisted of oily fried sliced (not skewered) onions and peppers which had been re-fried swimming in oil with a few pieces of re-warmed up chicken tikka mixed in, with no tomatoes. It had not been traditionally prepared on a skewer and cooked from fresh in the tandoori as you would expect. When questioned over this disgusting offering, I was told, they cook everything first before they open and re-fry it in a pan for speed! This unacceptable, poor cheap standard of re-warming food up to order seems to carry on through all their dishes. The meat is tough and lacking in flavour. Would not recommend or go back. Restaurant did however in their defence give us a refund."

Delicious take away, chicken was excellent quality and it was all extremely tasty. I recommend the shashlik and the peswari curry.

A great dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and the service impeccable. We had Chicken Korma and Chicken Kashmir which were delicious and everything in the restaurant was spotless.

Wimborne Tandoori recently catered for an outside event for 150 people we were hosting, the communication was superb, prices were great and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning an event.

The food and service at this restaurant were exceptional, especially the king prawn puri. The prices were reasonable and I even left a tip. The location was convenient with plenty of free parking available just 100 yards away after 6pm.

This is the second time I have been to the Wimborne Tandoori restaurant, went with friends this time and we all enjoyed our meals. The portions were a good size and well cooked, all of us said we would definitely go back. Great meal selection and good service.

This restaurant is wonderful. The food is excellent and the portions are a good size. The servers are fantastic - they are discreet but attentive. They accommodated our dairy intolerance with no issues. The chef is able to prepare whatever you request, as everything is cooked fresh. It's now our favorite restaurant since moving to the town.
