"There were 6 adults in our party. Went there as a bit of a trip down memory lane for me from when I was young and living in London. We were shown to a booth that easily accommodated us. Very polite young man who gave us our own menus. We ordered drinks first which came very quickly. We then ordered our food. Again this was very quickly brought to the table. All food was nice and hot and plenty of it. The bendy I knew it as a bender from my childhood) was great. Very tasty !! I loved the meal. The rest of the group enjoyed there’s too ! Well done Wimpy and the staff for making more happy memories for me. Will definitely visit again !"

Haven't been in a Wimpy for years. I wondered if they still served the icecream float, and they do. The food was nice, excellent service as well. Looking forward to going back again soon.

A vey busy Saturday lunchtime in Festival Place. Well managed Covid-19 mitigations. Friendly service, good food and value for money. We enjoyed our meal and the service provided. Please be mindful that the toilets are down 2 flights of stairs.

Fantastic all over service and the staff and manager are always very welcoming, food is always fresh and delicious and most off all no matter when you visit there its always spotlessly clean, well done to all off you working their and well done to the manger leading the staff carry on what you do

Although I’ve reviewed this branch before it’s been well over 6 months since I was last in but I can say standards haven’t dropped. The team have adapted well to the Covid 19 situation and the way in area is really clean. My order was cooked perfectly with special requests fulfilled. The staff are polite and helpful no complaints at all!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat on Friday afternoon. We ordered two mains, two drinks 2 desserts it was less than £19! Food was piping hot tasted great. Desserts are on a BOGOF deal so a really good deal! The restaurant was lovely clean, the staff were cleaning clearing tables as soon as customers left. Waitresses were very friendly attentive table service is always nicer than having to order at a counter. Would highly recommend!

With Wimpy, you are not expecting anything mind blowing when it comes to the dining experience it is a simple, cafe like setting and a basic range of food centred on burgers. All this said the restaurant was immaculately clean, the service was prompt and polite, the food was as ordered with good size portions and the meal was good value for money. Sure this isn't somewhere you take a date, or seek out a posh meal but for food whilst out shopping in Basingstoke, it fits the bill.
