"We have been dining at the restaurant for years and it has been our go to special occasion place. We recently went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were really underwhelmed by the menu and the quality of the food. We are vegetarian and there is always a few veggie vegan menu options, which is always welcome. The starters were delicious and there were a good range of veggie vegan choices. There were 2 main course options pasta or a veggie burger. We ordered one of each so we could compare and contrast. The burger was £20 and was absolutely nothing special. It was a commercially made burger in a commercially made bun. It was served with 1 lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato and it looked very sad. I have had way better at Smash Burger. The pasta was ok. Dessert was also grim. The Paris Brest, was dry, solid and tasteless and the knickerbocker glory was a mishmash of cheap tasting strawberry ice cream, fruit and smashed meringue which seemed to have come out of a packet."

What a lovely and friendly place. The staff were some of the nicest people I've ever met. The food was incredible, and the bed was one of the nicest beds I've slept in. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. Oh and they have a great selection of whisky to choose from. It's a family and pet friendly hotel so people need to expect small children/babies will be there. If you're looking for adults only, this isn't one of them. Rooms: 5 Ver carta

We spent a week at Woolley Grange before Christmas with our three young children and had an amazing experience. The hotel is very family-friendly, but what really stands out is the exceptional staff. They contacted us before our arrival to confirm our son's dietary needs and throughout our stay they were friendly, patient, and attentive. The kitchen staff also deserves praise for their delicious food, much of which is sourced locally or from the hotel's own garden. A special thanks to Dylan, Robyn, Ben, Kay, Sara, and the rest of the team for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope the management continues to take care of this great team at Woolley Grange!

We felt like we were at home from the moment we arrived at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and eager to help, treating us and our dog like old friends. Lisa and Daniel provided exceptional service throughout our visit. The restaurant is equipped with facilities for both dogs and children, making it ideal for families. We are looking forward to returning with friends and their kids in the future. The spa facilities and treatments were excellent, and the view from the outdoor pool was magical. The rooms have a cozy charm and provide everything you could need, including incredibly comfortable pillows. This is the best dog and child-friendly restaurant we have ever visited, so it's a mu...

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
