Xing Long - Carta

Best Chinese I have ever had by a long way! The food portions were ok but the taste of the food was amazing!!! We will eat from here again!

My wife and I frequently order from Xing Long because their food is consistently amazing. We believe that this is the best Chinese restaurant in Scarborough.

Ordered through their website said it would arrive at 21:10 at 5 past it was on my doorstep. We ordered beef curry and sweet and sour chicken balls. The food was all hot and tasted delicious. Could not fault the service!! Ver carta

I had a fantastic takeaway experience while visiting Cayton. The delivery was quick and the staff was friendly. Ordering through the website allowed me to stay updated on my order's progress. The portion sizes were generous and it was the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had. I will definitely be trying it again when I return.

After using this restaurant for 4.5 years, I will never use them again. I paid for my order online through their website, but when I followed up on my order, I was told they were not delivering and to contact the manager the next day for a refund. When I did, he directed me back to the online portal they use, but when I went there (All Eat), it directed me back to the restaurant for refunds. Despite having my official email confirmation and the money being taken out of my account, I have not received a refund. The service was absolutely disgusting.

Worst chinese we have ever tasted. An hour late and three phone calls. Rice had so much salt in it, it was dreadful and inedible. Chicken and cashew nuts had so much black pepper in it, you could actually see it, again, inedible. Prawn crackers, chewy and cold. Beef was good, the rest was shocking. Obviously re heated as chewy and tough. Pork balls were fatty and chewy and tough. Ordered at 6 pm. Confirmed would arrive at 6.55. Three phone calls later, it arrived at 10 to 8. When a Chinese takeaway goes above and beyond to give you amazing food, these are the ones to do it. The girl who served me was welcoming and friendly. Then I think I spoke to the owner who was more than happy to accommodate a request based on his recommendation even after my food had been prepared. He was also very friendly and happy to chat while I waited. All in all the best experience I ever had from a takeaway. I use these regularly and the food is consistently well cooked and packed full of amazing flavours. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thank you Xing Long. We have been ordering food from Xing Long during the lock-down. Spending over £210 we have been collecting points, we ordered food on Sunday 13th December and.requested our first £6.00 in loyalty points. When our food was delivered we were told that they would not honour these points. Asking why, we were told that people were ordering food then cancelling their order, fraudulently obtaining points. I told the delivery driver that we had purchased over £200 in food, often ordering food 2-3 times 3ach week. We complained to Xing Long but they still refuse to honour the points. We waited 2 hours for the food to arrive, we were told on first calling and chasing it up that it should be with us any minute that the driver was nearly at our address. 10minutes or so later still no takeaway. Called back the takeaway for them to tell us the driver had to stop to swap a tyer on the way and that he would be 5 minutes. As I come of the phone the takeaway arrives so clearly each time I called to chase it up I was being told lies as I asked why I wasn’t informed on the weight due to the tier he said the driver just rang him now, although the driver was pretty much at my door after speaking to them.
