There isn't much to say, to be honest. The staff were friendly, and I'd return for a drink, but I'd steer clear of the food.

Food was very delicious. But the top gun was Christos. He made our dinner like at friends house. Very nice, friendly, charming, funny and perfect person for such a kind of business. You definitely want to come back to this place : Ver carta

I'm a regular customer here as everytime I go to Caerphilly I come here to eat. Never had any problems with food or staff. If you do encounter an issue the staff go ubove and beyond to make sure its resolved as quickly as possible.

This restaurant is a lovely spot to gather for breakfast and dinner. I really enjoyed the traditional English breakfast and the Eggs Benedict. For dinner, the fries make a fantastic starter, and I liked them a lot. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively, especially on weekends. It's an affordable choice, and the best part is that it opens in the morning and stays open until midnight. You can drop by at any time for quick bites and drinks.

large place, clean with for provisions for social distancing. take service works well, eating arrived quickly and we have with a good portion. friendly and helpful staff provide a fast and efficient service. the gents was very clean and kept on a high standard. I just dropped a star as there was no mayonnaise and my sharp pizza came near feat without rocket, except that everything was very good. You can't go wrong here. There's a great selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu, served quickly as you'd expect from a fast casual spot. We did miss out on some of our early orders since we placed them right before the kitchen closed, but the staff were very apologetic and resolved the issue promptly. The location is convenient, with well-kept surroundings and affordable prices. Being in the center of Merthyr also offers some bonus entertainment, especially with all the patrons enjoying a pint around 10 in the morning!

The Wetherspoon and Dic Penderyn in Merthyr is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just drinks. We had breakfast there one day and returned for dinner another day. For breakfast, we ordered the traditional English breakfast, which included hash browns, toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and beans, and we were very satisfied. On our dinner visit, we tried a pizza and fried king prawns. While the pizza was average, I particularly loved the king prawns at Wetherspoon. The service was excellent, and most importantly, the prices are very reasonable.

Excellent lunch. I visited alone but felt completely comfortable. The atmosphere was welcoming and peaceful, a relaxing place for an older woman to take herself off to lunch when she lives by herself. I ordered the scamp and chips which were delicious as was the coffee. I even ordered a dessert which is unusual for me: bread and butter pudding with custard. It tasted homemade although I know it wasn't. However, it was absolutely delicious. Full marks to Y Dic Penderyn in Merthyr Tydfil. True to its heritage, Y Dic Penderyn offered a truly Welsh options' menu which was well thought out.
