"As a group of friends who meet up for dinner monthly, we were keen to find a nice cosy pub for our January catch up. Ye Olde Swan did not disappoint! The pub is charming and warm with a fire roaring. We were seated in a cosy corner and were offered a drink as soon as we arrived. Cheryl serving us was attentive and friendly. A few of us ordered from the 'specials ' menu. The food arrived in a timely manor, piping hot. I chose the pork belly it was delicious! The gravy that came with it was so good. We all cleared our plates and agreed we would definitely be back, there was nothing not to like we all walked away pleased with every aspect of our visit. I have also been here in the summer for a drink there is lots of outdoor seating and a good selection of drinks."

We had a lovely lunch, great food and good service by Cheryl. We had not booked but we were treated very well. The food was above standard and the atmosphere in the pub was lovely. We would definitely return.

Very nice ambiance with a fireplace, great service by Cheryl, and delicious food. For a birthday lunch, we decided to come here, and the service was pleasantly surprising. I highly recommend this place. Thank you!

"I don’t think we have had good service on any occasion, the staff always seem abrupt and rude. We have tried 3 times now. This week was by far the worst visit we have had. The waitress was so miserable and rude. The service was really slow and we ended up not having the last 2 dishes as it was so slow. 40 minutes between the first few dishes arriving and when we finally gave up and asked for our bill. When we did ask the waitress blamed us for not booking in advance! Then she said they were short staffed and busy, had she explained this at the start of the meal we could have chosen to eat elsewhere or accepted there would be a delay but blaming the customers for not booking in advance was really something else. Definitely won’t be returning for a 4th time and would not recommend. The food was okay, not amazing."

"An amazing restaurant situated in Central MK. From stepping through the doors, Akasaka delivers with a beautiful bar and pink cherry blossom trees. The staff and service was fantastic exemplary from start to finish. We had the Karage Chicken, Spicy Tuna Rolls and Salmon Maki to start. The Tuna Rolls and Salmon Maki were brilliant, but the Karage chicken a little disappointing. It was the crispiest chicken I have ever eaten, but it wasn’t very flavoursome even with the dip. We followed this with Beef Bibimbap and Salmon Bibimbap. Both of these were brilliant the hot beef comes in a searing hot iron bowl and continues to sizzle the whole time you’re eating it! The flavour was fantastic and it was nice to be able to ‘self sauce’ to personal levels. We’ve had takeaway from here before, but will definitely come back to eat in also in the future!"

"I have never been so disappointed in the quality of food in zouk lounge this week with the reviews about this place on travel adviser!!! I felt as if they had reheated the meat and put it on a rice with rice and. it brought to us! I will never go back to the Zouk lounge! the staff that served us a beautiful Romanian girl was very sweet and it is a shame that we are not able to experience her service as we refuse to enter this place again."

"This was a lovely dining experience for a Saturday night. The décor is classy and the waiting staff were attentive. We ordered a small mixed grill, pepper chicken, biryani and garlic naan for a party of 2. We left very full and happy. The food was delicious and the service was quick. As it was our anniversary, the restaurant gifted our dessert free of charge. We'll definitely come back."

"I cannot fault the service, the food and the atmosphere. Everything was brilliant. Been to the restaurant a few weeks back for a birthday celebration with my parents. We arrived earlier than we were supposed to but that seemed not to be a problem, we were immediately seated. Our waitress, Sharon, was a star. She was very frendly, prompt and thorough with our order. She made sure that she made a note of the dietary requirements and advised accordingly. The food was fabulous, steaks cooked to perfection, the sides were amazing and the cocktails were amazing too. Sharon came by our table a few times asking if everything was alright with the food and if we needed anything else. Her service was just amazing. The other staff members, even if we haven't interacted with them, you could see they were smiling and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxing and very friendly. All in all the experience has exceed my expectations and I will be definitely be coming back."
