Ye Olde Windsor Castle

The food was quite underwhelming and mediocre. The service was pleasant, but I do not plan on coming back after this experience.

Averagely good food, warm atmosphere. Rear garden for a sunny day. Gets busy so book particularly if you are a larg3 group. Good Guinness

Sadly slipping standards at formerly good Chef and Brewer. Many menu items unavailable as said to be sold out at 7.30pm on a Saturday evening! Frozen chips were still partly frozen, battered fish soggy. Will not be returning.

Came in with quite low expectations for a late lunch and could not have been more pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly helpful, we were served by Kyle Barry; and the food was lovely, thank you for recommending the Sticky Toffee Cheesecake by Chef Tom. Ver carta

Have visited this pub many times over the last 30yrs but not much recently because service and food were not as good as they had been; however, today was a very pleasant surprise. It seems much improved and definitely on the up. Great friendly service, good atmosphere and lovely food. Thank you.

Lovely little pub, fantastic food, good service, me and the wife had their burgers. I had their signature burger, and it was one of the best burgers I have had in a long while. The wife had cheese and bacon burger and she also loved it. The kids they were boring and had pizza chips and beans but they eat the lot.

This place gets the job done for a good feed and is great for families. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The food hits the spot and falls firmly in the bracket of gastro pub grub. The venue still retains the chain vibe a bit which is a shame and probably wouldn't recommend for just drinks given the focus on food service. All in all a solid shout if visiting with friends and much improved since my previous visit. Ver carta
