"we have traveled over 3 hours today and booked here how the website has shown so many possibilities! I absolutely love thai curries. green, massaman especially! it is our jubilee-waking and hubby selected here based on the menu online. Unfortunately we were told all, curries are not vegan now, as the cook decides that they need fish sauce or garnel bits to make them taste better. left on the main menu was noddles, raw or fried rice. ah. for thai curry loves me, 3.5 hours drive with the promise of a green curry awaits me. . I had 2 ways to weep or go! I went too scary for the rice as a slutty noodle in publicity! it has specified spicy fried rice on the menu. it was pale and oily in reality. to say that I am horrified is an understatement. we went by 2 Indians and one Chinese so that my advice would book one of them!"

The vegan menu offered a wide variety of flavors and the service was excellent. We have already made a reservation to return for a family vacation. Ver carta

I would have given 5 if I could. they have a dedicated vegan menu, including appetizers and desserts. that was delicious. the service was great, friendly staff and very attentive. I recommend the banana fitter for dessert, it was crazy plus the restaurant has a beautiful mood and beautiful decoration, really nice for a special occasion!

We came here looking for something interesting to eat and thats what we got. The food was delicious, well presented and the vegetarian options were plentiful. I just wish we were spending more time in the area to try the whole menu! It was out of season so I cannot make full comments on service as it was a lot quieter than normal, but what we experienced the people were friendly and attentive.

probably the best Thai food I've ever eaten. we stay in brinscombe and there is not much for vegan in the land of cheese and apple wine. we decided to get a trip from zenthai after we have seen the vegan options on the menu while we stroll in cheddar ****. the owner was very friendly and helpful, more than happy to go through what vegan/can be made vegan. the food was fast and was absolutely delicious. only sad that we discovered it yesterday! I reached out to Zenthai to inquire about accommodations for someone with celiac disease, a milk intolerance, a vegetarian diet, and a paprika allergy. Their communication from the start to finish was prompt and helpful. They assured me that they could adjust their menu to meet my dietary needs since their meals are freshly cooked. The food was delicious, the restaurant had a beautiful atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and would definitely return. While I would have rated them 5 stars, I reserve that for 100% vegan/vegetarian restaurants.

I came here for dinner with friends recently, and was impressed! Despite being a week night, it was fairly busy, so a nice lively atmosphere... I had the Gang Ka Ri yellow curry from the Lao menu, the chef was happy to veganise it (has chicken normally)and it was really tasty and filling! The staff are very friendly. There were a number of vegan options on the menu (including crispy tiger prawns made of soy protein,I didn't try, but if I go back I'll definitely give these a go!)and dishes can be veganised if you ask nicely it's great that there's a restaurant offering vegan options in this area, as every other eatery here seems to be a tea-shop or a pub serving traditionally British meals (w...

"We live just down the road from Axbridge and popped in for dinner as we had heard good things about this place. The first thing that is difficult is parking! There are restrictions everywhere for 24 hours a day as far as we could tell. Of course, that is not the fault of the restaurant but it does contribute to one 's enjoyment of an evening.Anyway, the restaurant and bar area are very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming. we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady and had a drink at the bar first. very chatty and friendly woman behind the bar too.On being seated at the restaurant, we had a tasty amuse bouche and drinks (decent wine list .The menu is good. There were at least three things on there that I could have ordered on the spot! Traditional British style choices, very nice. However, I could not justify paying £30 for an 8oz fillet of beef with some sauce!!I had the pigeon starter, which was very nicely cooked, pink all the way through and tender as well (water bath, maybe? . However, when it arrived at the table it was all quite cold as if it had been sitting for a while before being brought out. My wife had the soup, which was home made and she said it was good.We both went for the pork belly main course, and both agreed that it was rather dry. There was nice crackling and all the potatoes and veg were nicely cooked, but the actual pork meat was not unctuous with reduced fat. All in all, good service, nice place but the kitchen was not on top form that night. We would give them another chance however, this meal was 'average ', not 'poor '."

"I did visit here based on the good reviews I had read. However, I was very disappointed by what I was offered the service. I was visiting the area on a trip to cheddar gorge popped in here to grab a quick fulfilling breakfast before heading off for a day of adventure. I was one of the first into the restaurant and I greeted the waitress on shift but was not greeted with a particularly warm welcome. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast which was overpriced and greasy. Being the only place open for breakfast at that time, there is an opportunity to really own the space with no competition at that time, but I was left regretting my decision with x2 1 3rds of a pepper fried in oil, potatoes fried in oil, sausages, egg and mushrooms which I’m sure could (and probably were) all fried in one pan. I couldn’t finish it all because of the amount of grease I can’t say that I have experienced this, however I feel the feel, taste and presentation of the food was what I would expect if I was a trucker passing a rest stop and the food was more for convenience than passion for food. I had a glass of orange juice and an oat milk latte which was pleasant and tasted fresher than the rest of the breakfast. The toilet is a little strange too, being a male female baby changing which I can understand have no issue with. However, it was not well kept or finished and looked again like something you would find on a rest stop in America on a longer route highway where there is no competition and through necessity would be chosen to attend. It’s a shame, I would love to commend this place, but the only thing I can say is the coffee was nice the cakes looked tasty. But other than that, cheap food prepared with little care quality of presentation and very expensive for what you get. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for nice food, there are plenty of other places that open an hour later (which are worth it when combined with the quality of the food vs convenience)."
