"I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and had a mixed experience. I started with the courgette fritters as an appetizer. These fried courgette slices had a crispy, golden exterior like french fries but with a hint of sweetness that was enjoyable at first. However, the sugary flavor became overwhelming, and I couldn't finish the entire portion. For my main course, the fried chicken was perfectly cooked with tender meat and well-balanced seasoning. The chicken was a standout dish and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the zillionaire cake for dessert arrived partially frozen and icy, with ice chips on top, not up to par. I also ordered an appletizer drink, which exploded and leaked in transit, creating a mess in the takeout bag. Overall, this was an average takeout meal. The flavors showed promise in dishes like the chicken, but there were inconsistencies in execution, with the dessert and spilled drink detracting from the experience. I may give them another chance in the future, but this particular meal had noticeable flaws."

Very good. Booking process easy. Good service , nice food . Air conditioning would have been a welcome addition not only for the customers but the poor staff as well on a very hot day .

Not one of the best Zizzi but food as good as any. Staff seemed totally unorganised and not a clue what was going on. Squid was lovely. Wine also good. If you book here make sure that they do actually savy you a table.

Yesterday we had a lunch to celebrate our colegue' 60th birthday. It was 7 of us. We had a very nice lunch at Zizzi's, food was lovely, service good and the whole celebration in the restaurant very enjoyable. Would certainly return.

This restaurant is lively with a younger crowd and offers good service. It appears to have been recently renovated. The menu is fairly priced and the food is satisfactory. While it may not be top-notch cuisine, it was perfect for hosting gatherings with family and friends. Overall, it was a pleasant evening.

Zizzi in Basingstoke was very busy on Friday night but we had excellent service. The adults had the 'tapas ' style selection which was good, varied dishes and interesting. The children had Spagetti!!! The cabonara was poor very oily and very disapppointing but the bologenese was fine. Good choice for family quickish after film supper out.
