we were here end august main reason for coming was the chance to dine out. the food was cut in the best. my chest of truthahn (putenbrust) was ok, but the sose tasted as if it was finished and correspondingly boring. the pommes fries were certainly. from the freezer and many other restaurants can make a better job in this view. the service was very slow, but not unfriendly. on a positive note: the local beer was good. We were here late August 2016. Main reason for coming was the chance to dine outdoors. Food was at best average. My breast of turkey (Putenbrust) was ok but the sauce tasted as though it was ready-made and accordingly dull. The pommes frites were certainly out of the freezer and plenty of other restaurants can do a better job in this respect. Service was very slow, though not unfriendly. to the eichhof is a small guest house, a short walk from the heart of the village, which leads to a group of local and traveling. we were the only American diner in the evening we visited, which is obviously typical. Dishes in the offer are typical of...the region, but the quality of the kitchen is very high. our food was freshly tasted, well fed and served cake hot. prices are more than reasonable. my filet of trout with mandel and browned butter was delicious; it was a plentiful part, perfectly boiled, served with kartoffels and a large leaf salat from several species of salat. about [I asked for carrots instead of cooking, and they were excellent the dinner of my man, similarly expensive,...

Zum Eichhof is a small Gasthaus a short stroll from the heart of the village that caters to a contented group of locals and travelers. We were the sole American diners the evening we visited, which is apparently typical. Dishes on offer are typical of the region, but the quality of the cooking is very high. Our food was fresh- tasting, well-seasoned, and served piping hot. Prices are more than reasonable. My filet of trout with almonds and browned butter was delicious; it was a copious portion, perfectly cooked, served with potatoes and a large leaf salad composed of multiple types of lettuce.The cost?
