Zum Scheele (im Scheelehof)

Arrived without a reservation and had to accept seating a bit isolated on a mezzanine level. As it turned out this was just fine. The service was very attentive and the food excellent.

there is also a shop at the restaurant where they sell their own coffee (also bio.) the keerl was really helpful to find a suitable one for me. they also have chocolate bars, some are labeled vegan. Ver carta

This is an upscale restaurant in a historic hotel of the old town. They offer a lunch menu which is super in terms of quality for price. I had fresh cod fish with vegetables, a revisitation of the classical portuguese recipe, and Swedish cake; both were excellent and very fresh. Service is high standard. Don't miss it!

we were ten days in the scheelehof, so also more often in the restaurant 'to shele'. we were very happy. However, it is recommended to reserve a place in the winter garden, as it moves considerably in the restaurant in the main house. It is also worth noting that we were served by two exceptional friendly and competent ladies in the service.

beautiful restaurant in the historic house with outdoor areas in the farm and on the street. we were there for lunch, and the chef put some vegan together. focaccia with grilled vegetables and curry sauce. after that we were back in the evening and tried the vegan card. the upscale kitchen keeps what it promises! refined cooking from regional products, with excellent service. we'll be back when we get back!
