"I don't like to eat on highways. I'd rather research on the Internet in time and plan a stopover. On my way to Wuppertal I was looking for the restaurant–Pizzeria Zum Schwanen in Hanau. On the HP I had a terrace. That's right when you get out of the car after a long drive. A parking lot was also found quickly, about 100 meters from the restaurant is located the castle Philippsruhe and large parking lot (here my tip for a digestive walk: left next to the parking lot leads a passage to the main bank. Absolutely beautiful! If you go to the entrance of the restaurant, on the left and right there are two approximately equal terrace areas, naturally shaded by large trees. Because no waiter in sight, I chose the left part, there was a nice table in the sun free. Hardly I sat, but I was devastated. A service worker appeared behind me and told me that a large group would be expected and whether I could switch to the other side of the terrace. (From the group was by the way to my leaving the place wide nix to see. What the... The menus are already on the tables and, as it is so beautiful, have clear signs of use. In principle, everything does not seem super clean, however, which is also due to the fiesce trees that mercilessly throw around with leaves and similar stuff. You hear something from the busy road, at least you don't see the cars. In addition to the usual suspects, there is also a lunch offer, as I was quickly added: pizza vegetarian with supplement salad € 8.50. And a small S.P. to € 2,20. The waiters like to talk to you from behind. A strong voice that was well suited to the handsome man with the respect of facial expression, asked with a bold block whether I had already chosen. Ratzfatz came the salad, the sun of Italy I couldn't find in it. I hoped that at least a few vitamins in the iceberg, tomatoes and cucumber slices will be preserved. Crowned by onions – which the cook likes, I should still notice – and a powerless yogurt dressing. The small pizza was packed with eggplants, zucchini, tomatoes and abundant onions. Crispy cream of the dough, the vegetables juicy and with enough roasted aromas. To the onions I said quietly servus and pushed them aside. I don't want to have to shove the windows on the road... : “Why do you think?” it sounded like usual from behind. Yeah, it was. And now I have to keep paying, please. There was a proper proof and a smile! The toilets are clean and easy to reach, I like the guest room. Conclusion: a cheap lunch with good little pizza and unpretentious salad; Waiters of the somewhat sturdy type, ambience inside top, outside the tables and chairs are likely to be exposed to the weather for a long time. I was happy, but I wouldn't come back. There was nothing to remember."
