Once again in the Waalnuß. Have been there many times. Never been disappointed. Simple, rustic, rural hospitality. Steaks are a dream. But it may be that the total offer of the card is not available. You always find something you like. Ver carta

Super nice and warm staff often go to dinner with colleagues, always tastes delicious and always fresh. The price is also unbeatable. Can I recommend to everyone who is hungry and wants a cozy atmosphere. For me very clearly full score!! !

The walnut is great pub if you want fast, good and cheap food. Typical peasant pub unconventional, rustic ambience. All dishes are also for takeaway and can be ordered by phone. The pizza selection is large and the pizza tastes delicious. We always like to come.

On a bike tour, we made 2 friends for a short break in the shaded beer garden, where we almost passed in the direction of Landsberg. Despite obvious service, fair prices with a very small card (2x Currywurst, 2x Sausage Salad, 1 small supplemental salad that surely goes more varied). The inn is rather inconspicuous at the edge of the road and is worth visiting. The motto where the locals eat has been preserved. Daggi prepares her visitors a warm welcome and is also available for a Raatsch. The menu is meat-loaded, I liked a variant of Cordon Bleue with salami and romandour cheese, with sweet potatoes and a fresh beer from the brewery around the corner. The whole thing at civilian prices. We'll be back.

We were random guests at 31. October this day was a wine festival in the Waalnuss. At the same time, Halloween and the little monsters came back and forth to dust candy. At the neighboring table Italians sat, the service was good on it and communicated with them in custom English. We had Currywurst with reordering of the supplements, a Swiss sausage salad and a flame cake. All of which no lucullic features, but of the price/performance ratio impeccable. There are several beers, on request also in the yardstick and at fair prices. You sit at quite large tables, i.e. when more guests come, you definitely have neighbors. But that must be a village pub, right? Clearly up!

In the first place, the restaurant does not pay a mine, nor is it asked what we are going to serve. For the first night we took two Schnitzel „John Wayne“ basically it’s an external blue cord with two eggs on top. With potatoes, for less than 12€, price unbeatable! Really excellent. For the second night we took the dish for two, it's well noted for big eater, so we were served a big dish, with fries and croquette, with a bowl of vegetables, then two small Schnitzel, two steak, two piece of chicken 4 wings of chicken, two sausages. All for 17€/persons, we struggled to finish! All accompanied by a half beer (50Cl) for 2.50€ and 2.70€ white. Only regret? Not to have stayed longer in the region... Ver carta
