"Saturday evening 10/28, dinner at the gourmet restaurant Les Sources de Fontbelle for the 2nd time (5 guests). The first time we were really enchanted by the setting, the service, the aperitif on the terrace and the chef 's proposal. On the other hand, this 2nd experience is very far from what I hoped to be able to experience again. Already from the aperitif we started on a bad basis with a little discriminatory side. This is the only restaurant that punishes you for appetizers because you do not have an aperitif (glass of champagne or cocktails) confirmed by the waiter. All the tables had different appetizers but not our table due to the simple fact that we had a bottle of white wine to start. I learned that you had to like champagne or cocktails to deserve the same service as on the other tables, which is unfortunately not the case for me and my guests followed me, sad for them (I should add which we also had a bottle of red wine afterwards). I find this lamentable for a gourmet restaurant, one Michelin star and for the 8-course menu at €130. For dinner, I was not transported compared to the first time. But this does not deserve criticism because tastes and colors are unique to each person: combination of trout and geranium, lobster and grapefruit (average for me) and cabbage (favorite). For dinner I just regretted that for the pigeon we didn 't ask for cooking and that we didn 't specify that it was very, very spicy. In conclusion, the experience inoculated me for a moment."

"I had not intended eating out as I had had a decent and large picnic. It was the weekend of the Circuit des Remparts so every where was packed. The 'Bistroc' was equally busy but I saw rognons de veau on the menu ('Carte') so I asked if they could serve me. They said there would be a long delay but I could sit at the bar and have a drink if I didn't mind waiting. As I had time on my hands I was quite content to sit with a beer reading a book. Eventually after half an hour i was approached by one of the two (I presume ) owners and asked if I had ordered. I said not and he proclaimed himself 'desolee' taking my order. 10 or 15 minutes later I was presented with a magnificent steak - I think a cote de beouf - which I would have readily tucked into. Sadly not what I had ordered. More apologies and eventually the rognons de veau arrived. Nicely cooked, no sauce but good 'frites' and salad. I completed the meal with cafe gourmand, not spectacular but perfectly acceptable.When the bill arived they did not charge me for either my beer or the wine with my meal - quite unnecessary but hey insisted.This place is an old fashioned grill with great atmosphere - aided or hindered by two children of one or both of the patron(ne)s who raced around the place chasing each other and flirting with custommers. High quality food unpretentiously cooked. although I concede not cheap.Despite being rushed off their feet the two front of house staff I assume, the owners made every possible effort to make the cusommmers welcome.A very enjoyable evening."

"reservation for 9 h (we would have preferred 8 h 30, but good, as the restaurateur preferred, ok for 9 h). when arriving light disappointment in front of the tables all tristounettes installed in the street, which slice with life out of the other tables of the other restaurants around. So, we opt for the warmer interior. after 30 minutes and long, long, squeezed eyes, the server finally takes the command. You'll have to wait 15 minutes before you get the wine. a total of almost an hour to have our entrance and bread, or water to wait. we like the principle of the tightened card around 3 admissions, 3 courses and 4 desserts, guarantee of fresh and home products, but then why so long? flat : tuna tartare, fresh, original and colored for me. for my companion scalope of very basic Milanese calf in his presentation, potatoes without taste. a dessert for 2 clafoutis with apricots, directly out of the fridge, all frozen, for a clafoutis what damage, one did not feel the effluves of the summer. as it was the last part, we were allowed to pieces re-cut on the angles and reconstituted. On the other hand, the waiter speaks very well of his wines and advises them with accuracy. Very correct addition: 66 euros for 1 entry, 2 dishes, 1 dessert and 1 bottle of rosé la deco is in the image of the kitchen and service: good things, but without overall coherence. For example, a beautiful presentation of the bottles of wine and wooden boxes, but next to the empty cans in decoration of all sodas. As for the toilets, they give to see an indescribable bloc between the kitchens and the toilets. opinion on a restaurant is also formed on the decoration that expresses a lot of the spirit of the chef."
