"well placed pub in the center of Arcachon.Despite the world, we were served pretty quickly. "Come and have a drink and paste tapas qq we came to set up my girlfriend and I. We were greeted by bastien, a really friendly server and who is doing his good job. for what I think I'm the manager of the establishment or at least the manager, unpleasant, and don't look in the eye when they talk to him, in short I'm not going to stretch out about it. for cocktails, the piña was pleasant, but not unbelievable, the addition of the green lemon juice is not bad to break the excess on the initial soft side of the piña. I had asked for an ingredient change for one of their cocktails. Of course, the cocktail wasn’t shaken, so the purée was stuck in the bottom of my glass. In short. for tapas, the chicken was good and the homemade tartar sauce was really amazing frankly it was perfect. padrons were well seasoned and cooked. and the buratta was good, but would have deserved a little more glitter. Now let's talk about pancakes, house or not it was the cardboard she wasn't really crazy. our passage was not unbelievable and perfect in any case. but the service done by the young people who make the season catch up with the friendliness of the manager, surely acclaimed by his profession. Little toilet, they were clean. The view is pleasant. provide a budget because the price is fairly high 7€ the crêpe, cocktails between 14€ and 10€, and tapas about 10€. you pay the location and not the quality"

"We ate an excellent meal for a competitive price: 14,90 including sangria, shrimp, grilled dorade and homemade chocolate mousse. The whole thing was very good. light flat on the mussels that were too cooked. at the level of service, and that's the one we were disappointed, the young woman made us feel that she wanted us to go by being unheard of, closed and inappropriately posing the bottle of water. regrettable with regard to the excellent meal we had."

"This restaurant is not nearly as nice as the pictures led us to believe. No tablecloths, only small paper napkins, and no atmosphere. The food was good and the service was great from our waitress Lola, but terrible from the other waiters. We were there in mid-May when there was a terrible windy period with very cold strong wind coming in off the sea. The restaurant opens up to the beach. They had both doors standing open, letting the cold wind in, even though no one was sitting outside on the terrace. We asked them to please close the doors because we were freezing, but they refused. So as soon as we were finished with our main course, we put the cork in our wine bottle and left. No dessert, no digestif. The evening was ruined because we were frozen, for no good reason. We will not be coming back to this place."

"Good restaurant offering quality, fresh and homemade dishes. The service was very good: friendly and helpful servers and having accepted our request to change our support. The waiting time to order and be served was correct. The dishes are cooked at home based on fresh products, and it feels. Price level, the slight additional cost compared to nearby restaurants is justified by the quality of the dishes. I recommend this restaurant."

"I discovered the place when passing by on the beach and checked the TA-review and reserved a table.The foodI am not too much of a seafood-person, so my review might be a bit biased. I had oysters as a starter. My spouse went for the seafood platter. As a main I went for a pork chop, which was a bit dull/flat. I do appreciate the restaurant is first and foremost focused on seafood, so maybe ordering pork wasn't an obvious choice. Anyway - once on the somewhat narrow menu at a pricey restaurant I did expect more of it. The service:Our waiter was too up-selling and always wanted us to buy more. We discussed going for the €30 seafood plate as a main, but he said it was too small. When we talked about sharing the €48 seafood platter (which my spouse ended up ordering) he said this was not enough for two people to share. However, there was more than enough for two people (maybe we eat less shellfish than the french? :-) ) The restaurant is right by the beach and from it you can enjoy the sunset. Very romantic. Next time I go I hope to be able to order 4 (and not a minimum of 6 oysters) and I hope the waiter will be less pushy."

"We ate moules and fajitas there.The fajitas was good, the moules very dry and not recommendable.The Waitress was very nice but the boss of the restaurant not at all. We felt fooled.we have been talked more or less into some frites as a side dish , we thought there would be no additional costs. (But there were 5€ for some frites) the most braven thing about that was, that my boyfriend could have eaten as many fries he wanted to. (Moule avec frites à volonte. (He didn't reorder) but i have been talked into fries and had to pay 5€. And a bottle of sparkling water is 6€. Which really is way to much!!! As we said something about the fries the boss was very unfriendly and rude!!!!We do not recommend this Place!!!"

"I'm not recommending this place at all. we were there on the evening of August 15th, so a lot of people....the choice was restricted because we were on August 15th!!! we were 4 of which 1 insane and cold tin 1 american with cold steak and whitish color that we left the other 2 dishes were passable...too expensive for what we had to eat! hair on a glass...to crown everything as there were people waiting for places we were at dessert we heard the waiters next to us who spoke between them that we had to leave because we needed room! We're not coming back to this place."

"We opted out of the hotel breakfast and headed to this excellent restaurant. We sat outside where we could watch the coming and goings of the outdoor and indoor market. We had an excellent Dejeuner Anglais of bacon and eggs with crusty bread, freshly squeezed...orange juice and chocolate chaud. We would recommend this to anyone wanting something other than the very ordinary hotel breakfasts."

"We love seafood and came across this recommendation online, we drove down from saint emilion just to see what people were raving about! Were so glad we did, the platter was fantastic, the prawns were giant and so full of flavour, and we ordered a smoked salmon fillet on the side and I honestly have never tasted anything like it - was served on a board on a rope (how it had been smoked) it tasted so fresh and the smoke flavour was perfect ... my husband is a big Oyster fan and has them most places we go and said these are up there with his top 3 places his had them! given that they also serve bread with the fish (as most places in france do) was the best compliment to change up the flavours along with the garlic sauce they serve too... I really cant fault the food!! and the being English with little ability to speak French we just ordered a white wine without selecting anything specific and it was great! complimented the food perfectly. Please know that they do not do an English menu so be prepared to either order something and get a surprise, use google translate, or find your French within! also the tables are great high stall type chairs and small round tables (I think they have 1 or 2 long benches for groups) but this isn't somewhere to stop for a long time for a slow lunch, its really busy after 12 and I think they do like to have people in and out pretty sharp - but this was perfect for us as we had some touristing to do :)Its located right at the back of the large food market - make a b line before lunch time would be my biggest tip! and watch the hustle and bustle whilst you enjoy the fab foodWe want to go back to arcachon one day to stay and with out a doubt will return to L'Oyster Bar."

"Nice setting on big outdoor terrace with views of water. However we waited over 1h for our food because they had so many large parties. Food was ok but parts were cold when we finally got them and portions were small for the price (except the kids meals who ça were a good size/deal). Management should never allow for so many reservations if they cannot handle them. Shameful. And we got no offers of complimentary food/drinks or anything to even try to appease our frustrations."

"menu 19,80€ leaving a little desire. good entry (branded foie gras) well served, but cold toasts, dish (spadon lemon confit with risotto and eggplant tomato zucchini) good fish but garnish more than too little (an espresso cup for rice and a puck of each vegetables)!!! my spouse having taken pork confit (euh. side of dry pork) accompanied by frozen fries, shameful ice !!! dessert : perfect chocolate. They want gastro but don't master at all! damage!!! industrial bread too!"

Tenían solo disponibles la mitad de los ingredientes... Mala suerte (escogimos tomate, cebolla, nueces y bacon)Las hamburguesas espectaculares... Carne muy sabrosa y en su punto... El pan genial... Pasado por la plancha.Con dos aguas y dos cervezas Heineken de lata 56 euros en la terraza cerca del mar.Acompaño foto con la carta.Edito para añadir.El viernes mediodía 4 de agosto repetimos. Misma amabilidad, misma burguer jugosa y sabrosa, bacon casero, pan delicioso, Frites en su punto...Si volvemos repetiremos."
