"the first impressions of the black horse binsted were all positiw, the pub had a beautiful environment as it was in the landscape with a beautiful view of the golf course while eating in the garden room or outside, especially with the sunset we...hadow the lookout is stunning. the pub had a nice, cozy feeling, with good color schemes and decor. the pub also had very clean facilities that are very pleasant and they trust and feel safe with their 5-star food hygiene certificate. the staff were very friendly and friendly as soon as we entered the door, they were ready to help and answer all the questions we had. the customer service on the black horse was attentive as they ensured that everything was in order, watched us all the time there and even went beyond our expectations, as they put a candle in the desert as it had my friends birthday the next day! the personal had strong product knowledge, as they had always responded to ask that we had asked whether it was about the menu, ingredients, drinks or something else. the eating experience was very pleasant, the pub had a nice atmosphere, eating came to suitable times, so they have time to let their food go between the curses. the food was also presented to a very attentive and appetizing wise. the quality of food was also amazing, each dish had a lot of taste and they could easily say that the ingredients used were very good quality and that they were produced on site. they also had a wide menu of diners and drinks with many meals and drinks. the pub is dog-friendly and it is suitable for all age groups as they also have a children's menu!. the black horse surpassed my expectations, everything was done on a beautiful way, and they went well over what I expected to say nothing bad about the pub at all! I would recommend the pub my friends and family in spite of that they always have a lot to offer and great options!"

"After searching for the perfect venue to use as a Celebration of the Life of my wonderful Mum , we were fortunate to find The Boundary at Middleton Sports Club. This is now under new Management. Right from the start, Manager Emma listened to our requests. Nothing was too much trouble and she came up with excellent suggestions to further extend our wishes. We settled for Afternoon Teas, some GF (I am gluten allergic) and a table of Kiddie food for the younger family members, also gluten free as they are coeliac. As the Funeral date itself became nearer and I became more and more stressed, Emma was quick to reassure me that I didn 't need to worry about the Wake part as her team and herself had got this! . I was so relieved to have one thing less to worry about! On the morning of the funeral she met us bright and early so that we could set the room up. We all duly returned after the Funeral.... and what a sight met our eyes! The room looked so welcoming and the food....mouthwatering. It is an all-weather venue with a lovely patio outside; some of our guests enjoyed sitting in the sunshine . Ben ran the bar for us and Talia served tea and coffee. Quiet music added to the ambiance and a throughly enjoyable Celebration was enjoyed by all. The food was just amazing... very delicious, attractively served and so plentiful! My gluten free cakes and scones were light as a feather. This was a good surprise and one that I rarely have! My husband made a toast and we all raised a glass to Mum. She would have been so proud. We highly recommend this venue. Thank you so much Emma and Jules, you made a sad time more so much more bearable."

"This pub needs to up it’s game, it maybe recently refurbished to a high standard, and is clearly popular, but service and quality is erratic and not good value. Had a table booked for my Wedding anniversary meal with my wife. Upon arrival there seemed to be an issue with the table booking/software taking longer than it should to get us to the table, not the best start. Once seated no drinks offered at that point – I had to ask. Drinks then didn’t appear for about 15 minutes (after the starter had arrived and I had to ask for them again (lost order by the bar apparently . The billing was in a mess and we were asked twice during the meal to repeat back what we had ordered, the first time being presented with the wrong bill. The food, whilst it tasted OK (though I regularly cook better at home , portions were shamefully small considering the price, and even at a lower price point I would expect more on the plate. The Salmon my wife ordered did not make you feel like you had eaten a good meal and looked nothing like the photo here on TA (provided by the management! which is clearly the same dish and shows about double the portion size she received. My Linguini was tasty but contained around 3 prawns and 2 muscles. This is a rip off. This was not just us, our neighbour and 5 friends were on the next table and their food turned up in dribs and drabs and was not as described with portions very lacking in size. Apparently they were short staffed in the restaurant area so a special mention to Lucy who did an amazing job considering the pressure and difficulties of the busy Saturday evening – she gets 5 stars thanks. However, we won’t be returning to eat anytime soon, the management need to look carefully at staffing levels, their training, and portions of food at this price point. Maybe the pub is aiming at a fine dining experience (it’s not but regardless, to avoid this sort of bad press they need to learn from restaurants that do know what they are doing and do it really well with attention to the detail and consistency of the product they are delivering."
