"We were a party of 8, including 2 guests from abroad, and had booked a garden table. When we arrived the reservation was for a table in the sun, and one of our party has had skin cancer, so we asked for a shadier table. There were plenty of shady tables in the garden but our very young waitress really didn 't like our request. She said loudly to another, as she unwillingly prepared for us, I took their booking and ACTUALLY they said they wanted a table in the garden! (Anyone who 's told a 15 year old to clean their room will know that tone of voice and flaky logic. We ended up joking about it but unfortunately the food was below the previous standard we have experienced too so it was not a nice meal. My Caesar salad had a reasonable bit of chicken but the rest consisted of chopped iceberg, sliced cheese, no herbs, no dressing, no croutons, just 2 slices of cold dry toast and no dressing or oil or vinegar supplied. (A dish of dressing was extra It cost £13.50. The wrong cutlery was supplied too. The restaurant has been there for years and always been fine, but this time there was a definite bad vibe, so maybe it 's changed management. Will think twice before going there again."
