"During our journey from Scotland to Wales, we made a planned stop in Waddington for lunch. We had made a reservation based on the positive reviews we had read, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy even on a weekday at lunchtime, so we were glad we had reserved a table. The staff were friendly and efficient, the decor was warm and welcoming, and the toilets were clean. Our family of four, including two teenagers, all enjoyed our meals. We had a variety of options from the menu, including classic dishes like burgers and steak, as well as specials like scallops and pork belly. I ordered a delicious goats cheese and beetroot salad with walnuts for my main course, which was large and flavorful. The cheese soufflé starter was also a hit, being both cheesy and light. To finish off my meal, I had an excellent earl grey and lemon panna cotta. The extensive menu could be a risk for a smaller restaurant, but we did not find the quality or service lacking at all. Overall, we had a great dining experience with delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly service. We would definitely return if we were in the area again."
