"We arrived ten minutes before our booking and we're seated immediately. Very lovely girl on reception who explained how it worked. The server arrived promptly to take our drinks orders, then we tried the starters. Most were fabulous, my favourite was the chilli cauliflower outstanding! Hubby loved the chickpeas. All were hot, and starters were being replenished as they got low. They don't appear to do a massive quantity each time, which makes sense if you want to keep the quality of the food. For my taste, the paneer had far, far too much cardamom and it was unpleasant to eat. The mains were very good. Hubby had the lamb dishes and he was very happy with the quality of the meat. He also had the fish curry which he enjoyed. Both of us were hugely impressed with the rice, but felt the naan was a little dry. The Vege curries were great, especially the saag aloo! Wow! However, again the paneer was dominated by far too much Cardamom rendering it inedible. The fresh noodles were outstanding. The chef cooking did it to absolute perfection! He was polite and friendly, as we're all of the staff. Desserts were plentiful, lots to choose from. Highly recommend the Gulab Jamon and the mango rice pudding luscious! I really felt compelled to write a positive review as the previous reviews seem very unfair. For a buffet , this is fantastic! Of course there are some dishes that weren't outstanding/ not at all to my taste, but there were loads that were. For what we ate, and the excellent, friendly service we received, this was incredible value. We both left very, very full and very happy. This is the first time we have eaten here and will definitely return and recommend. Hubby is British Indian and over half the diners in tonight we're Asian origin, so I'm not sure at all where the other reviewer was eating at?"

"I think this place recycles leather shoes and serves them as beef..... A lot of the £80+ take out order we received was actually really quite good. I'm disappointed to have to write this review and will probably never visit again, for the following reasons: The beef soba..... Not good. It was inedible. Truly inedible. Note that I am not criticising the entire meal. However, the attitude of the staff the following day was as abysmal as the beef soba. Our order was delivered around 2130 on this particular evening. So, by the time we had finished eating, it was too late to call and advise them we weren't happy with one of the items. As a result, I called the following evening (having been at work during the day). I thought, surely as it's just 1 item, they'll apologise and perhaps give me a credit toward our next meal. Wrong. They were insufferably rude, told me I should have called that night (I explained they would have been closed) and told me to email them. Did they reply? No.... No they did not. It is worth mentioning that this could have been a good review, had they bothered to sort out my issue, but as they have had ample opportunity and chose not to, here it is. I never EVER post about anywhere, without first giving them the opportunity to rectify a wrong. Do visit immediately if you enjoy spending a lot of money on mediocre (and awful) food enjoy a diet of leather and desire an awful service."

"We got a groupon deal to come here. I work in food service myself and am normally very lenient with service provision but the waitress that dealt with us was honestly the worst I have ever encountered. There was only my party of us)...and another table of two in the restaurant and the waitress was totally uninterested (sat on her phone at the bar for most of the time). She took the order wrong and we didn't all eat together as my sister had to wait for her meal, she dropped the other tables food all over the floor with no apology. She came over minutes after we had finished eating and asked if we wanted the bill (clearly trying to get rid) and we said no we'd like to look at desserts please. We decided to go elsewhere for dessert as we felt she wanted us to leave. When taking payment from my Dad she didn't even say thank you and proceeded to clear our drinks off the table when they were still half full! It was beyond a joke. The food itself was nice. My mum and I both had the mushroom risotto (small portion but tasted nice), my sister had the fish and chips (which was a large portion and she said was excellent) and my Dad had a cajun chicken burger. We were overall impressed by the quality of the food compared to the awful service. The restaurant was gearing up for a Birthday party so the doors were open letting the freezing cold in and we asked the waitress to close the doors (she didn't) and it took the other table asking for the doors to be closed for her to do it. I could understand the poor service if she had been run off her feet busy but she sat at the bar on her phone for minutes at a time so no excuse really. Unfortunately, the food didn't really make up for the fact that we felt unwanted and uncomfortable for the entire meal. I would give it one star but they got an extra for the food being nice. Avoid like the plague!"
