"We usually shop at Emmerich, especially around the holiday season. Our 'usual ' restaurant has gone 'down hill ' and we only have cake coffee there now. Looking for a new place to grab a bite, we food this one and Greek cooking took our fancy....The service was friendly and the free ouzo when down a treat! The place was packed calls for 'take away ' were incessant. The food was good, although we expected the Meze to contain different items. We ordered another side order of stuffed grape leaves which were HUGE and excellent! The grilled green peppers (the long thin kind) were to die for. We had an entree for two people which consisted of lamb steaks, giros, slouvaki and chicken or perhaps pork (which you can ask them to hold). It came with a salad, rice and chips. Lots of food, so much so, that we had it as 'take away ' as we needed to get back on the road. Even warmed over it was good, so we say, 'give it a go '. Enjoy the atmosphere, friendly service and good, solid food."
