"We usually shop at Emmerich, especially around the holiday season. Our 'usual ' restaurant has gone 'down hill ' and we only have cake coffee there now. Looking for a new place to grab a bite, we food this one and Greek cooking took our fancy....The service was friendly and the free ouzo when down a treat! The place was packed calls for 'take away ' were incessant. The food was good, although we expected the Meze to contain different items. We ordered another side order of stuffed grape leaves which were HUGE and excellent! The grilled green peppers (the long thin kind) were to die for. We had an entree for two people which consisted of lamb steaks, giros, slouvaki and chicken or perhaps pork (which you can ask them to hold). It came with a salad, rice and chips. Lots of food, so much so, that we had it as 'take away ' as we needed to get back on the road. Even warmed over it was good, so we say, 'give it a go '. Enjoy the atmosphere, friendly service and good, solid food."

Full expectation there, but unfortunately, what a disappointment. Almost an hour have to wait for main dish and check this out for no excuse or anything. Real unkind and rude! Definitely not a terrorist service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner.

Solides griechisches Restaurant. Gibt es schon lange in Emmerich und nicht umsonst. Freundliche Bedienungen und leckeres Essen. Hier besonders die gegrillten Auberginen und natürlich Gyros, schön zart und lecker. Kommen immer wieder gerne! Liebe Grüße. Ver carta

Auf unserer Durchreise haben wir hier am Abend gegessen. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, aber bekamen dennoch einen Tisch. Dann gab es schon für jeden einen Ouzo. Die Gästeverzauberer waren alle sehr freundlich. Unsere Essen haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Abzüge gibt es bei dem Beilagensalat. Da ist noch viel Potenzial nach oben. Warum so lieb-und geschmacklos. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Syrtaki liegt im Herzen von Emmerich, nahe der Rheinpromenade. Parken kann man auf dem Neumarkt. Das Restaurant sieht von außen recht unscheinbar aus. Innen ist es dann erstaunlich groß. Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas älter. Der Service im Syrtaki ist mega!! Sehr sehr freundlich, man fühlt sich willkommen. Schon die Vorspeise war der Knaller. Gegrillte Peperoni mit Knoblauch. Die Hauptspeise die Kreta Platte für zwei Personen hätte locker für drei oder vier Leute gereicht. Auch die Hauptspeise war mega lecker! Wir haben den Rest mit nach Hause bekommen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.
