"Um es Vorneweg zu sagen: Grindelwald ist wunderschön und man kann sehr viel unternehmen - auch mit Familie. Nach genau solch einem Tag mit tollen Aktivitäten (Kinderwanderung Liselotte Weg ) freuten wir uns auf ein gemütliches Abendessen im CuM. Leider war die Enttäuschung gross, denn das Essen war mittelmässig und der Preis viel zu hoch. Das ist reine Geldmacherei!Positiv hervorzuheben war die Bedienung, die sich wirklich um und bemühte.Wer lediglich einen Apero auf der tollen Terrasse einnehmen will, ist hier richtig - aber für ein Abendessen stimmt das Preis Leistung Verhältnis nicht!"

"My partner and I mean, this is the best food we've ever eaten. It was dinner, evening entertainment and art in one. Each course was an amazing pleasure, the ambience and the views were beautiful and the staff was beautiful. We had the five course menu and were pretty crowded in the end. In addition to the five courses there was a tiny soup, some complex canapés, bread with cheese, fresh dress, basil and vegan butter and sweets; and we were told we could have more bread if we wanted. The restaurant offers only two options for dinner, vegan or not. I noticed three tables of Diners around me, all omni people, but over 50% of the guests chose the vegan food. Most free courses and the desserts were all the same (so, vegan) except accompaniments for bread. Cudes to the chefs to encourage people to eat vegan food. Our meal and paired wine were CHF 200 per person. For us this is a great amount of money and a very rare treatment, but we felt that it was an excellent value for money, especially given the obvious amount of work and quality of ingredients."

"Arrived on a Friday at 8:30 pm and found several tables eating but the owner (i assume) told us “food is finished” as soon as we arrived. Working hours are clearly written that they’re open until 10 pm. Felt discriminatory to us as we are clearly muslims with modest clothing and head covering. "Das Restaurant "La Marmite" ist ein Gourmetrestaurant im Hotel Kirchbühl (es gibt dort noch weitere Restaurants im Hause: das Panorama-Restaurant (für Gäste), das Hilty-Stibli und die Eiger-Stube - mit individuellen Speisekarten). Die Atmosphäre im "La Marmite" war sehr gediegen, ruhig, sehr beeindruckender freundlicher Service und das Essen wie auch der Wein waren 1a. Auch schön war die Aussicht auf die Berge. Wir haben den Abend dort sehr geniessen können."

"Wir waren nicht in Hotel Aspen aber beabsichtigten eine Woche im März 2021 dort zu verbringen. Weil ich ein bisschen lärmempfindlich bin habe ich im Hotel angefragt bezüglich einem besonders ruhigen Zimmer obere Etagen nicht beim Aufzug und so. Als Antwort erhielt ich den Hinweis ich soll doch auf der Webseite das gewünschte Zimmer buchen. Dort gibt es aber leider keine Möglichkeit etwas über die Lage heraus zu finden. Ich habe dies dem Hotel mitgeteilt dass mir das nicht hilft wegen meinem Wunsch nach einem besonders ruhigen Zimmer und ich dann gar nicht anfragen müsste. Leider fand es das Hotel nicht nötig mir eine Antwort zu schreiben geschweige denn ein Angebot zu machen. Scheinbar geht es denen trotz Corona immer noch zu gut. Kein Wunder machen Schweizer lieber in Österreich oder im Südtirol Urlaub, vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mal abgesehen... Schade!"

"we went out of our way to find this caffe after reviews on tripadvisor. when someone said it was a steep hill from the city, they said it (and we are hikers). So if they have problems to foot, they simply take the bus. it is definitiw. the journey worth it. it's nice to get out of town and get away from the crowds. the prices are reasonable. if this caffe is somewhere near me, I would go all the time."

"Die Gepsi Bar befindet sich im Hotel Eiger und wurde vor einigen Jahren komplett umgebaut. Stil: traditionell-modern - sehr gelungen und gemütlich. Zudem ist die Bar nicht zu gross, hat aber dennoch Platz zu bieten. Das Angebot ist breit, es gibt diverse Drinks und eine riesige Whiskey- sowie Ginkarte. Der Barkeeper kennt sich wirklich aus und kann gut beraten. Das Personal ist - auch in hektischen Zeiten - immer sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht, den Gast zufrieden zu stellen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Preise für die Drinks (ab CHF 14.00) sind etwas happig im Vergleich zu den anderen Preisen in Grindelwald. Trotzdem: Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher."

"I visited because it was right in front of me as I came down from First. Even though I went there after lunch time, the ordering/food time was the fastest among all the European restaurants I've been to. The Rugenbräu was delicious, and I heard that Swiss schnitzel is not fried, so I ordered the cream sauce schnitzel. It wasn't anything special, but the sauce was good and it wasn't fried, so it wasn't greasy, so I enjoyed it. Other than a few flies, I don't think there are any downsides."

"We found ourselves at Grindelwald Terminal at supper time, and were looking for something within a short walking distance that had kids' menu. When we got there and saw that it was the restaurant at the Grund train station, our hopes weren't high. But wow... one of the best all-around meals we had in Grindelwald. Between the view, the menu, the service, the value, and the food... we were disappointed we didn't discover it until our last night. The live traditional Swiss music was a nice surprise, too. The kids loved it!"

"Serviece einfach nur unfreundlich.Preisleistung verhältnis mäßig, stimmt nicht. Zugleich Essensportoin zu klein.Räumlichkeit nichts besonderes. Wenn ein Gast nur etwas trinken will bekommt man das Gefühl unerwünscht zu sein. Es ist ein Problem, um acht Essen zu bestellen obwohl die Küche bis neun geöffnet hat. Man wird schnell abgefertigt und sollte dann auch schnell gehen damit sie das gleiche mit dem nächsten machen können. Nie mehr dort hin."

"Auch wir waren spontan im Memory mit unserem 4-Jährigen. Uns wurde ein Platz im Nebenraum angeboten (gegenüber der Rezeption des Hotels). Die Bedienung und der Service waren sehr gut und sehr freundlich und auch das Essen war sehr gut (wir hatten Käsefondue und der Kleine ein leckeres Kindergericht). Lediglich die Nähe zur Tür machte es ein wenig ungemütlich, da desöfteren Menschen hereinkamen, die dann auch jedes mal die Kälte von draussen mitbrachten. Dies hat unsere Begeisterung für dieses Restaurant jedoch nicht geschmälert und wir möchten es jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Auch wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen wenn wir mal wieder in Grindelwald sind."

"The room is large enough to spread out two suitcases. The reception staff are really friendly. The parking lot next to the hotel is narrow, but if you tell the reception, you can park in the sports center and use the hotel parking lot (10 euros). There were problems with the doorknob not opening smoothly and the pop-up drain pipe in the sink, but it wasn't too bothersome. The outdoor pool has a great view of the mountains, but it is too narrow to swim. Breakfast doesn't have a lot of variety, but it's delicious. The view of the mountains from the terrace is good. It is a structure where you get off the elevator and use the stairs to go up or down half a floor, but if your luggage is heavy, you may be angry. Receptionists are very kind. The view is incredible. Also you can see the mountain in the pool but it is too small to swim in the pool. After getting off the lift, you need to step up a little bit(4-5steps) to go up or down to get in the room. The room is big enough to open 2 luggages on the floor(it was really satisfying). The room is clean and cozy. The parking space is small but you can park your car near the sports center. Make sure you get a parking ticket from the reception so you can pay 10 Euro per night, just like hotel parking price. The breakfast doesn't have lots of menus but each of them was delicious."

"You know the people in Europe who like curry, which is common in Europe where they just set up a random shop on the side of the road and make your eyes shine? You can think of it as just a store with a Swiss shell. Can you roughly imagine what the taste and service will be like? Since it has a Swiss shell on it, the price will be Swiss price. Occasionally, I see reviews saying that the pizza was delicious. That kind of review was just because I was hungry and tired as soon as I arrived in Switzerland. When I looked for a fast food restaurant in Grindelwald, it came up there, so I went there, ate it, and wrote a review. Even if you go to any store on the street and eat food with cheese in it, it will be incomparably delicious compared to the food here. Honestly, even if you just buy pizza from Coop and put it in the oven, it tastes better than here. Unless you arrive really late and Coupe is closed, I recommend going to Coupe and buying food to eat. With the money you spend on food here, you can buy a lot of food for a few days at Coop. Since I'm in Switzerland, I don't mind spending a bit of money as long as I go to a proper Swiss restaurant and eat. I don't recommend eating at a restaurant that offers this quality and this price just to get a quick meal."

"We ate here by accident. We had plans to go to a restaurant in the village but, after a long and tiring day of hiking and sledging, we opted to just eat in the hotel instead. The restaurant is understated and the menu isn't extensive but the food is very good. We had the Goat Ragout with Spaetzle and the Sea Bass. Both were delicious. The couple beside us had raclette which looked really good as well. If we every go back to Grindelwald, we will definitely eat there again. When I say below that the price is mid-range and good value, that is accurate for Grindelwald only."

"Wir haben in dem Gasthaus und Restaurant unser Flitterwochenende verbracht. Als wir nachts um halb 11 ankamen gab es noch super leckre Käsespätzle aufs Zimmer (obwohl die Küche eigentlich seit 7 zu war), das Frühstück war süß, Abends konnten wir wunderbar Essen, Küche und Bar waren wunderbar und flexibel und das Zimmer sowie die Lage sind der absolute Wahnsinn. Vielen lieben Dank! Ihr ward alle mega zuvorkommend und gastfreundlich. es hat uns an nichts gemangelt. Oh und die Bluetoothbox im Zimmer war noch das besondere Extra, was wir nicht erwartet hatten aber doch sehr viel Mehrwert gebracht hatte."
