"Die Aussicht auf die Seen ist sehr schön und die Bedienung ist freundlich. Das Essen, das ich hatte (Lachsfilet mit Rosmarinkartoffeln) ließ jedoch sehr zu wünschen übrig. Der Lachs war ziemlich langweilig und geschmacklos und ziemlich trocken und kam mit Gemüse das offensichtlich tiefgekühlt war und weder gebraten noch gewürzt war. Die Kartoffeln hatten nicht den Hauch von Rosmarin. Das Bier war so naja. Für den Preis echt nicht die Qualität, die ich erwartet hätte."

"We are big fans of Eritrean food and this one is the worst one we've tried so far.We ordered two Veggie Platters (€11.00 each) and one meat platter (€13.50). The food was warm instead of hot, portions of the lentils, spinach, and potatoes weren't generous enough, and they all tasted very bland.We also ordered a bottle of still water which tasted awful! The only impressive dish was their lentil soup (€4.00) which tasted great.The service was okay, but didn't have a menu in English and the waiter didn't speak any English either. They didn't issue us with a proper receipt (was hand written) and they only take cash payments. Wouldn't come here again."

"This restaurant was suggested to me .... so I went to check it out.... it is nestled along a narrow street, but there is plenty of parking at the end of the street near a park, then a short walk past a few shops and there you are. My first thoughts on entering were how clean it was! My second thought was that it was also very pretty, namely the tables and the decor. We were greeted by a smiling waitress, if she is there (i forgot her name-but she is absolutely the best waitress in all of Karlsruhe!!..in my humble opinion) and we were led to a table. There were a few other patrons here as well.... on my third visit I noticed that there was a beer garden type area, here it is called an "imhoff"... so next visit we plan to sit outside if we can. On to the food, I have tried several different dishes here, and each time I have said to my wife how good it has been and the portion was of a good size! The quality of this food is simply outstanding! I have been greatly satisfied every time we have been here! I almost hate to write this review as I am a little afraid that others will discover this little diamond and it will become the next great Thai place... but alas.... you must try this restaurant!! Great atmosphere, even better food!!"

"For the first time in Café LUUC I was last fall and decided to add a Chai Latte big plus: there are also vegan milk alternatives in addition to cow milk. Also the other hot drinks at further visits I found very tasty (Pumpkin Spice Latte, Matcha Latte, ... . Only the coffee I actually found a bit bitter, but this is probably a matter of taste. In addition to hot drinks, LUUC also offers various lemonades. The Rhabarber Limonade I found very refreshing and tasty, with 5,70€ however also quite happy in the price. Before I come to dinner just a few words about the ambience and the service. The ambience I feel very pleasant and the café is really very lovingly decorated in the Botanical look. I felt comfortable in the green café. The service is (usually very friendly according to experience, however, this varies very much between the individual service personnel. I've already got very friendly people and those who were only moderately flaunted. Nevertheless, the drinks come quickly. You sometimes have to wait for food (only if it is full. Overall, I find the waiting times appropriate. Now for food: The selection at LUUC is for vegetarians or Vegans really huge. So far, I've only tried cakes and waffles. These are really a pleasure. I really can recommend the waffles, the Carrot Cake and the vegan cheesecake. I have heard only positive things about the Bagels and the Bowls so far from my accompaniments : In addition, the food is always super beautifully dressed. You can always see a variety of people taking their food. You can't blame them in the way it's done. One last big plus is that all allergens are listed on the menu. This is really very practical for gluten and nut allergy sufferers. All in all, I can only recommend Café Luuc, who wants to taste something new and/or enjoy a drink in a beautiful ambience. I was there more often to be productive and also to work for that, the LUUC is a good address."

"We ate here (while it was half empty!) and the waitress was careless and not very customer oriented.Initially we requested her to clean the table cause it was dirty, but she forgot to and cleaned just after we insisted. We ordered a Pizza with 3 plates and potatoe chips. She brought a Pizza (which was not cutted in pieces), 2 plates, no cutlery, no napkins and no salt for the chips (the chips had no salt!).We requested her to cut the pizza and she was reluctant at first, then she brought it back and it was still not properly cut down! To what she replied "thats why I am giving you a knife" - seriously? I mean what kind of kitchen cannot cut down a pizza properly? Even the 1€ pizza-cutter from Ikea does the job! By the time we ate the pizza was cold and while eating the pizza we found Aluminium-paper pieces in the pizza! The salt and napkins she never brought and we had to ho looking for it ourselves.But we have been here many other times and it was always perfect. The food is also tasty.Just today this waitress made our stay really bad. *** We were seating outside next to the window - the waitress was small and probably indian... Try to avoid her. We noticed all other waitresses attended customers the way it should be."

"We saw this restaurant not far from our Airbnb apartment and decided to walk over and give it a try. We couldn't be more thankful that we did that. We had Amanuel (I probably spelled that wrong) as our waiter. He spoke very little English but was so patient with us. He could understand exactly what we were asking for and he chose each of our dishes to eat and they could not have been more PERFECT for us! We got a bottle of wine that was excellent! Our boys caught up to us and he chose a pizza for each of them that they loved! This is truly a GREAT place and wonderful memory for us!"

"Located a short distance from the Schloss this apparently family-run establishment serves typical, traditionally prepared Italian food so do not expect a gourmet experience. Beer and wine are available with the open wine choices reasonably priced. Although pizza is the hallmark and the selections are almost innumerable, I chose to go with more traditional meal, veal parm with spaghetti which was served with a salad. The taste, ingredients, and preparation were comparable to what one might get in an “Italian chain restaurant” in the States. The veal was so-so, the mozzarella on the stingy side, and I would have expected a bit more spaghetti."

"Also meine Reservierung wurde nicht gefunden.. ok dennoch ein Tisch bekommen.. das überschwängliche oft beschriebene vom Patrone hielt sich in Grenzen ( zum Glück / vielleicht hat man hier dazu gelernt ) .. zum Ambiente .. ganz nett jedoch alt und billig, zudem sind die Tisch mit gefühlten 40cm tiefe zu klein .. Positiv : Sektgruss zum Anfang ( wer es mag / braucht ( ich nicht ) ganz nett.. als Gruß aus der Küche gab es zwei Mini Bruschettas .. Negativ : nerviges Telefon inkl. Nervigen Klingelton ständig im Restaurant zu vernehmen .. Hunde im Restaurant .. für 10 Tische 6 Kellner inkl. Chef und Chefin sind zuviel des guten .. jedoch alle sehr aufmerksam ! Schade das wenn man Gläser von Aqua Panna bekommt dann nur Evian auf den Tisch gestellt bekommt und auch auf Nachfrage kein AQUA panna vorhanden ist .. als gehobener Italiener schwaches Bild .. Das Essen war langweilig leider .. sprich null Gewürze .. auch kam keiner nach dem Rechten sehen oder bot mit Pfeffermühle an nach zu würzen.. ich hatte Lachs gegrillt .. dieser war gut aber ohne Geschmack .. ohne die Zitrone hätte ich genauso Tofu essen können .. dazu hatte ich Spinat .. auch hier keine Würze / Knoblauch oder sonst was und nur in Wasser gedünstet.. somit in Summe sehr fade.. Was aber den Vogel abschießt sind die geschnitzten Gemüse Stücke ( Karottenrose ) die man vom all you can eat Asiaten kennt oder aus den Türkei Urlaub 1980 .. hier sollte das Restaurant mal dringend bei Sterneköche lernen wie man Teller anrichtet .. In Summe somit für die preise eine schwache Leistung .. Das Dessert war gut .. Resümee war ok aber muss ich nicht so schnell wieder haben"

"because of the close proximity to the apartment of the daughter, we went there not least because of the good ratings.The waitress showed us friendly the free tables of the large relatiw area, which however was evaluated by us three independently spontaneously as canteen-like. the extensive map exhibited elements of the Yugoslav and Greek cuisine as well as regional feeds. We chose 2 mixed grill dishes, where, for example, in addition to the usual cevapcici, there was also gyros.An interesting and tasty experience.The total impression was however thrived by the third dish, a peach pan.The sosse without doubt from the bag and the rubbery mushrooms from the bush.The floppy bad. the whole also for 14,90€.The complaining at the waitress was processed by her with the known standard answer: "I will pass it to the kitchen".I hope that other guests will receive a modified dish or even better, it will be removed from the menu."

"stardate 20150203 1417 entry in logbook, cpt. kirk. a year ago(th there was a Döner-Bude in the durlacher tor with I think algerienn (migrations background.) there I ate the first color of my life and immediately got to know another favourite dish. hmmm. in the southern city I only met this Syrian quick snack, the (the tasty falafel in the Cornfladen offers. the load is located in the eckhaus mairenstraße baumeisterstraße. it has about 2 3 small tables with 4 each. opposite the door (with a chokevogel as a turkling-upschüpschüpschüp! is a bar behind which in the regular a friendly gentleman service can afford and offers a Mediterranean tasty bite. so, besides the falafel so loved by me, there are also pizzas and others.. the load is not assigned to a chain, I call it mediteran chaotic, without discriminatory rather being symphonic! but, don't worry, clean and tidy. it is served quickly and quickly, the flafel is also kept warm in the micro in the pizza oven (if more are produced, the ingredients are fresh in the next kitchen in small portions prepared for the loading table (so everything is always very fresh. I've been eating a falafel there for years. there is probably another falafel snack restaurant in karlsruhe and the fans fight what is better. for me as a southern city indian, the discussion is no matter where I have to go; prices: I cannot give any exact prices (they simply did not find it, but always that the advantage at the price appeared to me totally i.O. "Whenever I am in Karlsruhe, first dinner is usually here. And it's my place of choice whenever I need to have a good, tasty dinner close to my hotel. They have some all you can eat and usually the food looks great and smells even better. I would have gone for their all you can eat, but their rumpstake is too good to pass. They never get medium rare wrong... Even for their half a kilo rumpstake. 10/10 extremely delicious. Pics are just before and after... Meat was a deliciously pinkish colour on the inside and very tender."

"Restaurant with own brewery. I don't like beer, I like to come in because the food offered is always delicious. There are different offers every day. Sunday friday. Today, pork roast with cream sauce and late zle was on offer. Without salad 9.40 Euro. My goodness, two thick pieces of meat and a large part of latex. It would have been a part for both of us. To go sleep well and eat forward, the bird tongue is not so suitable. Here the post usually goes off when the KSC plays you can see on different screens. Wir waren zum Abendessen dort und hatten einen frischen leckeren Salat als Vorspeise, schmackhafte Nudelgerichte und auch der empfohlene Wein war fein. Insgesamt aber werden wir wegen der ungemütlichen Atmosphäre nicht mehr hingehen."

Conclusion: we will definitely come back when the quality of the food and since ambiente have convinced us!"

"the new shelter is located a bit away in the hardtwald and obviously still unfinished by the carlsruhern. the large terrace in summer offers a nice place with comfortable furniture, large umbrellas and surrounded by the green of the forest. the children can walk around, find a (old) playground and don't bother anyone.The map offers a very good selection of bathing and international cuisine to travel between 8€ (main dish, pasta) to approx. 16€ (main court, fish and meat). a changing saiosonal card also offers a mixed variety. the quality of eating is great, it always tastes good there.Because there is little going on at the weekend there, the waiting times are short. the pächter is very friendly and deserves to be recommended.My recommendation: who does not yet know it should try it out!"
