When we asked to change our crushed new potatoes to mashed, we were charged an extra £2, which we found disgusting. 4. The salmon portion was small, and the wilted spinach was not worth it – just one wilted sprig. The chicken was overcooked and dry. It should have been served on a plate with vegetables. 5. There was only one dessert option on the menu. 6. The owner was cooking and not a trained chef. 7. There was a big advertisement on the doors looking for staff, which may explain the decline in quality. 8. We didn't complain while there because one of our friends doesn't like confrontation. 9. After this experience, we won't be in a hurry to return."
