"Visited for lunch. The menu looked promising however unfortunately that promise was unfulfilled. I ordered Nachos for a shared starter and a Chicken ‘Sizzler’(otherwise known as Fajitas). Possibly two of the easiest dishes to prepare that have ever found their way onto a pub menu. Bad choice I’m not sure how it is possible to get nachos wrong but they managed it here. Perhaps it was the way that the chips, cheese AND the Salsa were thrown together and then nuked, I suspect in a microwave but possibly they did use the oven. Result soggy chips and a sloppy mess served without any Guacomole because they had run out but the kitchen did not tell the server so no apology. Next the Chicken Sizzler. Now I’m not a chef but I know this dish is normally cooked by griddling the chopped veg until they are just cooked, sometimes slightly charred. I’m not sure the veg in this dish ever went anywhere near a griddle or similar. My guess is that the was simply heated in a microwave and then topped with microwaved chicken pieces that had been supplied pre cooked complete with ‘fake’ char grill lines. To be fair the chicken was OK but the veg was limp, tasteless and was served swimming in an oily, watery liquid (see photo). How is it possible to make such a mess of what is a simple dish? I was later told that the peppers are supplied pre sliced; maybe knives are not allowed in that kitchen, I suspect the disgusting liquid they were served in was in the plastic bag they were delivered in. Quite frankly the Nachos and the Sizzler were the worst examples of these dishes I have ever been served with. My Mum’s scampi and chips looked OK but the Scampi was absolutely scolding inside .. I suspect the good old microwave may have been pushed into action again. Good points, at least it was open on a Monday lunchtime, my Latte was OK, and the staff were all friendly. We won’t however be going back."

"We had an excellent evening combining dinner and a movie! Honestly, we didn't have high expectations for the meal since it was a pre-set menu, and we had heard mixed reviews about the food. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The meal started with a delightful sharing plate, and for the main course, we had a great selection including pasta, pizza, burgers, grilled items, and salads. Dessert was equally impressive; I highly recommend the Eton mess sundae if you get the chance! Afterward, we grabbed our drinks and enjoyed complimentary popcorn as we settled in for the film in a cozy cinema room that had two sofa seats. It was an amazing experience, a fantastic movie, and perfect for date night! We will definitely come back!"

"I've visited the Cafe Bar a few times now, and always find the atmosphere both welcoming and relaxing. I feel that I would feel quite comfortable if I wanted to call in on my own. They do cater for vegetarians, and the food is unfussy and fresh. I had a cheese and onion marmalade sandwich and was very pleased with the fresh leaf salad and balsamic dressing that came with it. The other plus for me is that it's never over busy like some of the other places nearby."

"I booked a table for my family and as a family with neurodiversity as usual I requested a quiet corner or booth ... on arrival it was hot there was a note on the door saying the air con was off and there would be fans on in the resteraunt. I was informed there was no quiet space ...the resteraunt wasn't overly busy several booths were free but the hostess decided that she would seat us center table in the resteraunt ...the absolute worst place to put a child with neurodiversity ... in the center of the noise When I challenged this she told me that she was short staffed and the table we had reserved the previous reservation had ran over as they arrived late When I pointed out the booths she became quite rude shouting quite loud again that they were short staffed and that she couldn't move us Which then drew attention to us which is what we didn't want I guess that was her way of punishing us We went for the meal ... I have to go up and get the kids first as they won't speak for themselves and then went up for mine The gammon was about to run out so the server saved 2 little scraps for my 3 year old that she took back off the emder child's plate ...and charged me for 2 proper portions There was no sausages for the king-size meal ... we will bring them over I was told they are just cooking ... OK they never arrived and were still not ready when we left They had no meat ... apart from beef which was all fat ... or turkey It was all still cooking ... They had no veg ... cauliflower cheese and carrots were all out and the peas and green beans were dryer than a flip flop in the Sahara... inedible...no mac and cheese tbf that doesn't belong on a roast dinner There was onion in gravy they were raw None of the meals were discounted ... we wernt offered an apology but expected to pay full price for half the food being missing and there inability to time manage No one came to ask if our food was OK like they usually do so they can see which meals u picked .. cos they knew we would complain Also there were only fans in the entrance and bar area where the staff stand I was abolutley shocked that they presented me with a bill for 75 quid .... I left there hungry it's a disgrace I appreciate that they were short staffed and I do sympathise but don't take booking and stop walkins. Using that as an excuse is just poor I'd like to also point out the other tables we were refused actually remained empty throughout our visit Wasn't worth 75 quid and I will be looking for a refund of some of not all of that"

"personal very pleasant and welcoming. we didn't book, but they found us a table right away. I want to eat to die. something more expensive than other places, but eating tastes fantastic. they get what they pay for. restaurant es top condition clean and very well furnished. feels very posh and to treat nicely made by the employees on Sunday evening is worth coming."

"If I could give this restaurant a 0 rating, that's what they should have received at 9:00 pm on 24/08. We arrived just before closing time at 10:00 pm, but the staff had already put a sign on the door without realizing it was only 9:00 pm. Despite there being plenty of empty tables, the guy in charge refused to seat my family, yet allowed a group of young men to be seated. This kind of discriminatory behavior is unacceptable, especially since I work in customer service at a hotel where we welcome guests until closing time. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"I went to this restaurant on a Friday evening with a group of 12 people. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and polite. The service was efficient and there were no complaints from any of us. All 12 main dishes were served together and everyone loved their meals. The chicken jalfrezi was the best I've had in a long time!"

"Came here with my boyfriend yesterday, loved it! Was served by Hannah (I think I got that right lovely smiley waitress and still stayed smiley when my boyfriend was very perticular about his order and added lots of extras! Another guy with blonde hair was there and very friendly and smiley also! We were here when the place was empty and closed and didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable at all. "... WOW. Talk about art imitating life! Also, I don't think I've ever had as much FUN eating a meal as I had yesterday! We had crab claws (first time I'd ever liked crab), langoustines, mussels, oysters, shrimps, whelks, calamari, veg and noodles in a...brothy sauce of ginger and spring onion and, for an extra quid, a whole lobster. My husband, whose frustrated ambition had been to order crab of any distinction since last summer, was delighted. I was in seafood heaven. A special shout out goes to the very friendly and kind manageress and staff. Thank you again!"

"Awful experience. Poor quality food, definitely recommend avoiding this restaurant. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and although the starters and specials seemed appealing, the reality was disappointing. We tried the deep-fried Risotto balls as a starter, which were bland and unappetizing. The mushroom and gorgonzola risotto I ordered for my main course lacked flavor and was more like warm, creamy rice. My partner's Italian burger was a complete letdown - it seemed more like a cheap, frozen burger from a discount store rather than a gourmet dish. Overall, the food was subpar and we left highly unsatisfied."

"What a fantastic find! The restaurant offers a lovely view, and the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have an impressive understanding of veganism and even know that honey isn't an option. We visited on a Sunday, so the menu was limited to just a few dishes, with choices between "kargen" items and salads. We decided to combine the two! We enjoyed a roasted vegetable tart, brat potatoes, a selection of sides, and for dessert, we had a delicious chocolate orange cake with a creamy topping."

"This is a sizable garden center offering quality products. It features a spacious café where the food looked delicious, although we only had drinks—a hot chocolate that could have been creamier. The seating area is large, with plenty of outdoor options as well. The plants appeared healthy, and there was a vast selection available, along with various types of compost. They also sell bags of different kinds of gravel and stones, which I found a bit pricey. The food area includes a popular butcher, as well as items like bird feeders, garden furniture, and clothing. Additionally, there are a few indoor shops and a selection of scents. Overall, it’s a nice place for a worthwhile walk!"

"We had a post Christmas get together and overall it was a lovely experience. We changed our booking time for half a hour later which was no bother to the staff. "During my recent visit to Lincoln, I ordered a Cookie Dough milkshake at Eskimoo. I had tried the milkshake a few years ago and remembered it being really good. However, this time I was disappointed to find out that they used a powder instead of real cookie dough for the flavor. Despite the sign claiming they use real ingredients and not syrups, the milkshake did not meet my expectations. At over £5, it was expensive and not worth it. Unfortunately, I won't be making the mistake of ordering it again. Goodbye, Eskimoo."

"My 9-year-old son ordered a burger that took a long time to come out, but he didn't say anything until he had already eaten half of it. However, the manager replaced his meal at no charge, gave us a 30% discount on our bill, and threw in free chips and guacamole. I was very impressed with the customer service - 5/5 stars for that. The food was delicious, but having moved from San Antonio, Texas to Lincoln, I can't give it the top rating. It didn't quite live up to the authentic Tex-Mex cuisine I was used to. I will definitely be returning and recommending the restaurant to others."

"we have bar 67 as venue for the 30th birthday party of my mannes for approx. 55 people hired and I'm so glad we did. the bar looks like having a bit of revitalization, because they don't have the same 60s decoration as in current...photos, but we really preferred this! eating was very good and many guests commented on it. also cheap food package and they allowed us to bring our own selection of brownies to be served next to it for free. the dj was great, and the bar staff worked all night at their **** and gave a great, fast and friendly service. the bar 67 had an intimate and cozy atmosphere that is exactly what we were, instead of a large empty hall, and has different small cozy corners to sit and drink and chat. the party is officially finished at midnight, but we were not immediately expelled by the employees what was nice, and they offered to keep all gifts/cards safe in their office when we save it all in our room. all in all, we had an absolutely brilliant night and would definitely recommend cash 67 for private rentals."

"Went for Sunday lunch, really good value for money at 24.95 for three courses. I had soup, beef and chocolate delice, my partner had mackerel, venison and the banana pudding and a cheeseboard. The bread was tasty and the amuse boucher was okay. The soup was great, velvety and nice flavour, the mackerel starter was a big portion and the skin ok the fish wasn't torched but that was a minor fault. The beef brisket was soft and delicious, the portions were good sizes. Roast potatoes not very crispy but good flavour. The venison main was slightly misleading on the menu as it mention a sweet potato cake and it wasn't expected that the venison would come incorporated into the cake, it wasn't to my taste personally. Both desserts were delicious! We also took a toddler with us and they were very accommodating to say it doesn't give the vibe of being suitable for young families as they do not supply high chairs but we had no problem taking our own. The venue itself was lovely, cozy and full of character and then staff were attentive and thorough."

"Happy cow only allowed me to give this up to a four as its not a veggie restaurant. We love it here there are I think five burger options and they're all awesome. The chips are amazing and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to veganism. The also have Swedish glacé ice cream and have been kind enough to make me ice cream with peanut butter and bananas in the past which isn't even on the menu. Even my omni friends copy my dessert choice now :D"
