Niemals wieder in diesem Restaurant!"

"Today, I finally want to redeem my promise to NoTeaForMe and report on the Merhaba, in which we fed on our trip to the Baltic Sea in October in the evening. We were both quite curious about this Turkish restaurant located opposite our Hotel Motel One. The owner warmly welcomed us, led us to our reserved table and brought us the menu. And as always we ordered our normal drinks: a soft wheat (4.50 € and a 0.25 l of water (3.00 €). Meanwhile we studied the menu that shows a rich and varied offer. The boss came back to our table with the drinks. She saw our undecided facial expression and gave us information on various dishes that we asked, among other things, about the sharpness of the curry sauce in chicken-scattered and daily vegetables. While she went back to the kitchen to get us something to try as a greeting from her husband in the kitchen, we made our decision:No Appetizer, because we had seen the quantities on the plates that went to the neighboring tables. For my girlfriend, who is a lamb fan, the kuzu sote, lambskinted with daily vegetables in herbal tomato sauce and Bulgur for 17,50 € and for me the Tavuk sote (14,90 € , chickenskin with daily vegetables in curry sauce and Bulgur. The boss came back with the greeting of her husband and accepted our order. The baguette slices were slightly warm, tasteful but painless. Dips Cacik and Ezme The first dip, a Cac?k, a preparation of yogurt, cucumbers and garlic (comparable with Tzatziki, was light, loose, seasoned with salt, pepper and olive oil and really good in taste. The second dip had it in itself: Ezme, a fiery-sharp fruity vegetable salsa of tomatoes, paprika and chili as the main ingredients that was really fiery-sharf. I couldn't eat much of it, she was too hot for me. The main courts didn't wait long. Both dishes hot and steaming, both dishes with Bulgur and daily vegetables as supplements. The durum wheat grains well cooked, nicely loose and very absorbent for the respective sauce. The daily vegetables rich and versatile with zucchini, paprika, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, carrots, and all this also slightly crisp. My friend was very fond of lamb, both of the quality of meat and preparation. Tastes really good after lamb, very delicate! Gels! That's her statement! Tomato sauce spicy, well tasted. The combination with Bulgaria loved her very much. Chickens in Curry sauce That's what happened to the curry sauce. My fear that she was too sharp for me, did not notice, on the instruction of his wife the cook had held back with the normally used curry, and so a curry dish that can be eaten well for me.The chicken meat juicy, the vegetables with bite as with the other dish. We were very happy. The boss and also her son repeatedly questioned our well-being, acted very customer-oriented and always gave us the feeling of being welcome. We felt very comfortable here. At the end there was a tea on the house. Recommendation! And that's very happy!"

"Short description: very special, ambience 5 stars, operation 4 stars, salad 4 stars, dessert 5 stars, one strives for Noblesse, interesting “Speisekarte”, for us definitely worth a visit ....... “We go to Babis”, says my friend: “I was probably 15 years ago.” Said, done. Enge street, single-family houses, suburb Idylle with slope to the rural and in the middle of it the Babis with some parking spaces outside the door. Nanu? These are not parking spaces that every guest can use – no, some are for normal mortals, but next there is a sign “VIP”... Because I don’t feel like a VIP, I go three meters. And the miracle continues. A sign announces “Wein and Dine Babis new generation Greek cuisine”. Au weia, we can't laugh! Anybody going to the world? We enter the conservatory with the long window front, are pleasantly surprised in view of the tasteful ambience. Heavy modern tables in different sizes, black artificial leather chairs with high backrest, wine shelves, covered tables with naked cutlery and crystal clear giant wine glasses, bright napkins, even the pattern in the bread plates fits the grain of the wood of the tables. Perfect for the eye. On a side wall of the conservatory hangs an oversized mirror of certain 2 m2 size, framed by a wide golden frame in baroque style... We are led to a table for two people and hardly that we have taken place, a bread basket is brought along and oil, coarse salt and a small sticker dip is added. At the same time, the service asks us about our drinks. Yeah, we could have had wine if we could have the wine card... And now it will be special... You are enough for my friend who had asked for the wine card, bound the card in wooden lids – I don't understand...?! Yeah, you want me to go around the table, put me on my girlfriend's lap, so do we study the card together? Or do you expect them to pick up the drink for me? Or should we study the map one after another? I win after the service and ask for a second card. The puzzle solution: There is only one card! Unfortunately, the restaurant cannot wait with another card. I order a Pinot and good. White burgundy and silent water are brought, a third chair is used and a slate table is placed on the chair, framed – as it could be different – by a wide golden baroque frame. Approx. 10 different appetizers (from approx. 12 € high and approx. 20 main dishes (from approx. 22 € are available. The service cannot be taken to read us appetizers and main dishes! 2 fish dishes, the rest is meat, meat and more meat. We chose a Greek restaurant for this evening because we were polished on a lush salad with sheep cheese, peperoni etc. – and interrupt the young man when we realize that the meat-laden offer does not match our current preferences. We'll ask for a salad if there's something like that? Of course, a salad creation would not happen. He goes and appears approx. 20 minutes later filled with 2 salad plates of the size of two essayers, but only one third. Really very decorative and quite sufficient of the crowd! A small bread is served. Wow, this is something for the eye: lettuce leaves, tomato pieces, strawberries, wineries, pomegranate apples, caper apples, cucumbers, sheep's cheese diced and shaved... (I don't know what else was on the colorful hill) It tastes good at all, but would have liked us even better if the cook with the oil were a little more economical. We were almost finished, another slate table was placed on the third chair at the table – right: with golden baroque frame. And – you already know: The operation begins to read about 15 different desserts. I'm trying to interrupt him to say that we like to rest... He interrupts me for his part insists on reading!? Well, we choose yogurt with candied walnuts, currants and physalis. Very delicious!... At the prices we have paid for: 0.7 l Coralba Stilles Water 6, 00 € Culinary salad 9,90 € 0.2 l Chardonnay Weißburgunder 6,90 € Dessert 6,00 € Conclusion: Uncanny we felt the only available drinking card (if you assume that the guest of the skin Volée is happy to be advised by the host and so let the decision take off – not our own thing. We also felt the boards' lectures against our desire as annoying. And that on the site with the explanation: “We only use regional and seasonal products of highest quality.” is definitely a false statement, because strawberries in November, Physalis, pomegranate, Kaperapfel... are neither regional nor seasonal products, unless one refers to a particular region Greece, in which all these ingredients grow and thrive... Who's looking for something special is here. Whoever doesn't care how much a restaurant visit is here. And who wants to meet a VIP (who should also be included in the Lübeck district...) could also have the possibility here – the parking for a VIP is available at any time...."

Hüxstraße 49, 23552, Lübeck, Germany

"Only very few people are likely to have a strong, warm soup in general, we begin our first culinary experiences as a baby with liquid food. But a lot of people can also report about grandmothers or mama's stew, which they have fed as a child with a much too large spoon, more or less tack-free, often for their own mouth. This warming feeling is also that the small spoon bar in the Lübecker Hüxstraße attracts its customers. Outside view. The small restaurant announces to the guest with its red awning from a long distance. If you are standing right in front, the glazed front of the wine-red painted house with the name standing in large white letters is only right a eye-catcher for hungry. Something sober presents itself to the interior. Interior view. Colour was not dispensed with with something green. The wood-metal cellar is kept on the simple and unpadded side (which would still be understandable, as the danger of staining in a soup offer is certainly significantly higher and the upholstery would only have a very short half-life. More than stools and simple tables, however, there is no need here, since a soup is often fed quickly and is intended to serve less than a menu for joint meetings. Funny and at the same time me found that the high chairs were so appropriate that at least with me the soup bowl was placed on the table so that the way to the mouth was really short. Perfectly dimensioned to minimize the risk of pliceries. ; The tables were clean and blunt. A funny accessory is the daily newspapers that are suspended on the wall and can be studied during its short soup period. Something “living” in the form of plants or even more cozy lighting would have been missing for a perfectly chubby “suppen atmosphere” for my personal impression. A chubby feeling is of course to give the soups and stews to which the spoonbar has self-explanatoryly specialized. The variety of this food form is of course predestined to allow the offer to be changed weekly and also daily and thus to offer standing soup heads again and again new reason to return. In the week of my visit there were, for example, Masala chickens; pumpkin tubes; Tomato-Käsetortellini and a curry-lens soup with mint on the board, which was already visible outside on the facade and also in the interior. Sweets can complete their meal, e.g., with likewise chubby milk rice. One more word to the service. This is also adapted to the fact that customers usually return here for a quick lunch break or strengthening. It is ordered directly at the counter, where the selected food is also immediately filled and served. At the end, the dishes, sometimes also empty, are stored in a tray holder by the guest. Thus, a service assessment is aimed more at the character of the staff present. This was limited to the owner as a one-man show. With his open-hearted and friendly way, he spread an absolutely inviting mood and was also called “Schnack” for loose and fun small talk (here in northern Germany). A question about satisfaction was, of course, just like the offer to supplement bread. The harmonious country music in the background was perfect for his mind. From the above offer, I decided for the curry-lens soup with mint. At a price of 4.8 € there was an appropriate portion of an estimated 400 ml to which there was free gray bread. Curry tin soup with mint and coriander. In the white soup bowl, a counter-scattered black base served as a retaining basin for flooding events, as well as for depositing the two slices of gray bread, which of course had only a standard quality. However, they were juicy and soft and thus not old-baked, which corresponded to the quality expected for the price for me. I could ask for additional coriander for me. But this extra spice would not have needed it, because the optimally tempered soup kept both the promised (mild curry taste and the ethereal impact of the mint. These were in good proportion, so no aroma dominated. Tastefully really a round thing. For my personal preference, it would have only been possible to have a few crisp lenses for some bite in the otherwise perfect soup for this level. Here the soup was completely spiced. The consistency was as successful as the taste: neither too thin, nor too thick. At the bottom of the line, it remains to be observed that my culinary expectations have been met to almost 100%. The friendly and open-minded nature of the owner also contributed to a happy strengthening. Thus, for my impression, there is actually only the desire to express a little more heat when designing the interior. Clean and in good condition it was all. So after this visit, the spoonbar showed me as an absolutely sensible and recommended part of the city's gastronomy Lübecks."

"feuerstein, the perfect pizza! if I have pizzerias, then I go to lübeck in the city. at the end of the wide street/corner beckergrube, I find the restaurant feuerstein, which is not accessible from the outside. the entrance is difficult for disabled, it must first be used a small disabled lift, which can also only be used by disabled people. for the others there are a few steps. behind it they reach the glass elevator that brings it to the restaurant in the first stage, there is the latent strange smelling staircase that I prefer because the elevator has its mosquitoes. whether they come out of the elevator or come out of the staircase: they are immediately greeted by the service friendly. if they have found a place that is difficult for gehandicapte people, but later they get the menu quickly and can choose between pizzas, nude dishes and other delicacies. because I can always eat a pizza, I can't say anything about the taste of the others. I have discovered pizza hawaii for me and just searched them on the menu. for the first time not hawaii read. for the second time, still not reading hawaii. read the ingredients of pizza: hawaii is called crostina here. after a short time an operation came to receive our drink request. my choice fell on a big cola light. after a short time I got my 0.4 liter cola light with ice cubes inside. what I also saw was that in the apfelschorle was a small piece of apple in it. the cola was nicely cold, but she had no carbonic acid. because this is not a new land for firestone, I took it, and I took the first star. at the same moment when the drinks came, we gave up our pizza orders. 2 large fireplace pizzas (cittel menu: pizza sauce, cheese, cooked ham, salami, bark, paprika, planks, fresh champignons, peperoni, oliven) for 9.40€ and for me the crostina (cittel menu: pizza sauce, cheese, cooked ham, ananas) for 7.50€. a person from my tour (we were three to three) gave me the olives because the person did not like oliven. because I have nothing to do with olives, I took them off and had a crostina (hawaii) with oliven. also tend! the development process of pizzas could be seen because they are cooked and occupied in the stone oven in the middle of the room. I ate my crostina with olives, and I am convinced every time on the new this pizza! thicker floor, juicy pineapple, fresher ham. only the knife has disturbed me. it was blunt like (blöder vergleich) a matratze! after the exchange with a leader, that was no longer a problem. but then the shock: I ate an olive with the pizza, if I only noticed something heavy, which prevented me from closing my bone. an olive kernel! all the other olives have been de-incubated, only those were not! Luckily my teeth have not taken any harm. the toilet I also searched. in short: clean, but parts of cover lighting defective, therefore dark. the environment has earned definitiw 5 stars. it is rustic, so there are only wood and chairs that are not padded and a wood floor. a walk leads through the restaurant and between the severing beams there is a small step that has to be overcome to get to the wooden floor and thus to the seating places. menschen with handicap have problems here. on the wall hanging only black and white pictures and in the one wall there is an old-fashioned bookcase (all intents). from the cover hanging old-fashioned lights. all I like. Conclusion: the pizza and the ambiente have earned definitiw 5 stars! for the blunt knife, the carbonated cola and the non-comped-friendly location I pull out a star, but add it as recommended. it wasn't the last pizza I had in brandstein!"

"New is not always better It is necessary to bridge a half hour waiting time, so what could it be better to see right again?! And indeed: it is worth it because the traditional stone cough house has been redesigned. A shocking, welcoming illuminated pietresen attracts the visitor into his magic and clearly suggests that you should look around here thoroughly and then choose wisely... The baked product range was extended by rolling; Otherwise, good old acquaintances like the tasty cherry Charlotte still find what a lucky thing! The cozy old, lush granny pink armchairs have disappeared and have been replaced for more modern beige gray. Some benches. Whether the new armchairs are comfortable, we cannot say because we stay in the front area of the café; Here you have the best overview. We sit on the high dark-synthetic leather benches, wonder about the disgusting menu and observe the colorful drive. The influx is enormous this Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., but we don't have to wait long until a friendly service force asks for our wishes. We just want drinks. My additional wishes are taken into account thanks to Cordin. The lady is back at the table with our order. My waterglass has some spots... little attractive, but I decide to ignore it. My husband looks at his cappuccino and makes such a convincing “Igitt!” that I almost have to get out loud. In any case, he stirs several sugar bags into the brew, “so that it tastes not only watery, but at least sweet,” he says. “In summer the cup is beautifully large.” But I say that if we look more closely, we discover a massive thickening in it. Outside of hui, but inside pretty pfui. 3,10 € costs milky brown water; I'm glad I chose a cold drink. It is not convenient here, it is quite loud, quirky, turbulent. Professional coffee house charm?! And what should it look like on weekends if there is so much rest on a normal Tuesday?! We pay our toes, my husband is dissatisfied, so unfortunately it is not enough for a tip and the friendly service is not so friendly at all... Conclusion: Traditional house? It was once and is no longer. The new stone dough has lost its cozy charm many and two stars!"

"Firstly, the positives! What a beautiful building the restaurant is housed in I actually found it hard to believe it was rented out to a restaurant, as it's a wonderful historical building with art and furniture to match. You really feel you've stepped back...in time when you dine there. Secondly, our waiter was wonderful; helpful, friendly, and recommended a lovely bratapfellikör! The duck pate starter was smooth, rich and creamy, and the compote served with it a perfect match. The goat's cheese starter was a good, creamy goat's cheese, but that starter a bit meh and something you could easily rustle up at home. The negatives...on the whole, the food was disappointing. When you claim to serve The best pork in the world' and charge for it, you'd better be sure you're not serving something up that's small, chewy and tasteless. I've eaten the best pork in the world and believe me, this isn't it. We were asked mid-meal how the food was, and I replied (in German) that the meat was tough. I received no apology, explanation or even a smile from the Manageress, who proceeded to then argue with me when I challenged her about having to pay the full amount for the meat that we only half ate as it was inedible. Finally, the marzipan cake dessert was tasteless and dry, and the ice-cream served with it equally lacklustre. Disappointing for the marzipan-lover with me! Three other things really made this experience shine though being told to hurry up and order dessert as the kitchen was closing (at approx and being told to leave because the Manageress wanted to pack up and have a drink with her friends (it was all of by this point) and arguing with the Manageress about the bill. She insisted she was being nice by removing the dessert we'd not eaten, and she therefore refused to do anything about the inedible pork. Maybe the Chef had a night off or something, as this experience differs greatly from many others here, but there is absolutely no excusing the fact that we were made to feel we were an inconvenience, let alone leaving feeing ripped off after paying for over-priced, poor quality food."
