"Together with a friend we stopped by to grab a quick pizza before going to the cinema immediately afterwards. I 'll start by saying that I 've already been there twice and so far I 've always had a good time. We ordered two pizzas and a water to drink, wanting to save it for later. We were the first customers, they had already placed a little something on the table for us to munch on which I appreciated and asked two different waiters if we didn 't also want an aperitif. They seemed surprised and a bit insistent but I told myself I was exaggerating. Upon returning from the bathroom, however, I pass by the waiters who were taking our order, and the man exclaims Do these people only drink water??? . Stunned, I turn and look at them offended. Following the dessert order which we always wanted to avoid to make room for the popcorn, I felt obliged to justify myself on the Cinema issue to the waitress and order an espresso, but I shouldn 't have. These things shouldn 't happen in restaurants! friendliness is the minimum! There 's no point in wishing me a good evening if you say anything to your customers behind your back. I 'm sorry but I think I won 't go there again, too bad."

"If you want to save on restaurant costs in Lugano this is the right place. We went for 2 consecutive evenings and were never disappointed. The first evening we chose pizza. All at 10chf which for Lugano is unlikely when the average in other places is at least 15chf for a Margherita. Reasonable prices also for beers and desserts. We spent 93chf for 4 with 4 squares, 3 beers, 1 coke and 4 desserts. Not only the price but also the quality of the pizza is excellent despite being in Switzerland. We return the next evening and have 1 mixed grill with side dish, 1 pasta with meat sauce and 1 carbonara, same drink and same desserts and we spent 130chf. Very good! Fabulous grilled meat cooked just right, even the carbonara, despite being with bacon and not bacon, was very good in taste. We're a bit disappointed because the place is a bit isolated and seems little frequented, but we always found the place very full. The waitresses recognized us immediately, always with a smile and never rude, like the owners always checking that everything is in order. A point of reference for good food, excellent value for money."

"I have often stopped to eat a pizza with my family even if a couple of the permanent waiters were not the most friendly, the place was saved for the good pizza but I have a child who doesn't like pizza (in general) and for this reason I always ordered him fries and schnitzel. Less than a month ago the chips tasted like calamari and after asking the waiter how it was possible, the chips were horrible, and pointing out that the child is allergic to crustaceans and molluscs I made him leave everything on the plate. I paid the bill in full but I overlooked the matter since the health of my son was more important to me and for this reason I went to complain to the manager who I recognize was available and attentive to the problem presented to him and suggested that I Always specify allergies in advance so that they can pay more attention in the kitchen. Confident and determined to overlook the issue, I went again last week with my family and friends for dinner, it was a Friday evening and the room was not very crowded. When ordering, the same waiter pointed out the allergy and he rudely and without tact replied that they had only one fryer in the kitchen and that the allergy could not be paid attention to, the child was upset and showed a a bit of indecision about what else to order so he wasn't ready to order, he's only 10 years old, but the incredibly hostile waiter told me that I had to hurry and order because he had other people to serve. I felt so mortified and embarrassed that I wanted to leave immediately but I was in company and it seemed unfair towards others but I promised the child that we would never set foot there again. Initially I appreciated the policy of the place which has some waiters who are not very young but I was convinced that greater importance was given to their experience and professionalism but I was wrong, they always proved to be not very patient, especially with children, annoyed and even annoyed. I've overlooked it many times but I think that good food must be accompanied by a pleasant environment where every customer feels welcome."

"We went to this place for dinner as it was right next to our hotel and there were literally no vegan/veggie places for dinner in Lugano (fast a shame as all vegan places are opened here only during lunchtime). The menu is really big, guess about 70 dishes available, but just a vegan pizza on it! In the end we found out that a tomato broschetta and pasta arrabbiata were vegan, but there are no signs for vegan/vegetarian/GF etc. on the menu that is really disappointing. Overall pizza and bruschetta were really good, but pasta was far too sharp for Italian standards."

"Very tasty food the 3 times I went eating there last week, good quality. For the entry course the mix salad (well served and flavored) and the cold cuts (3 different ham, salami, tasty local cheese and marinated veggies) were very good Also their asparagus risotto with shrimps was good, although I found it an odd mix. But the best are their pizzas, hands down the best in town and not to take anything from it it is located near the lake!!!! Their tomato sauce is amazing and the pastry is thin and crusty. If you like row ham, try their Sfiziosa pizza really loved it! (typically doesn't come with tomato sauce, i would recommend to add it). Finally service is very good, friendly, fast and polite, and if it is raining their booth are very comfy."

"Wir haben in diesem Restaurant sehr gute Spaghetti gegessen. Als wir vor dem Restauresnt standen, mussten wir einige Minuten warten, bis der nette Chef de Service einen Tisch für uns hatte. Wir haben dann auch sehr schnell die Speisekarten erhalten und konnten Rasch bestellen. Obwohl das Restaurant bis auf den letzten Tisch besetzt war, haben wir unsere Spaghetti schnell erhalten und diese waren auch sehr heiss. Bei einem nächsten Besuch in Lugano werden wir sicher wieder in diesem Restaurant essen gehen."

What I don 't get is how the restaurant 's owner, I presume (signore Matteo? , thinks it is fine to make a video call with his daughter in high volume, so that everyone around, including us, can hear her high pitch voice and their conversation, and also clearly see her on the phone if we happen to look at the entrance, where he was sitting. How disrespectful! Also, even though our card worked fine everywhere else in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and France (etc , here it mysteriously didn 't work and we had to pay in cash (funny, I also heard the waiter whispering to his boss that someone else had also payed in cash... Faulty credit card reader, a way to avoid taxes?.... I don 't know, but that 's rather bizarre when today 's technology and credit cards work so well... . "Unfortunately the quality of the food was very poor. We ordered the perch filet with butter and sage sauce with parmesan risotto. The risotto was probably rice cooked in cream, not seasoned with wine, vegetable stock, onion/garlic or other spices. The fish fillet was small breaded pieces of fish that were probably deep fried or fried in copious amounts of butter. No fishy taste noticeable anymore. The sauce consisted of sage leaves fried in butter. Plates carelessly arranged. Overall, the second most expensive dish on the menu was not recommended. Even cafeteria food is better! The gnocchi was also ordered with Gorgonzola sauce and saffron. Gorgonzola was not tasted, saffron dominates the whole meal. Children's dish (macaroni with tomato sauce) was served cold and the tomato sauce was probably not homemade. Absolutely not recommended restaurant for food. "Spaziergang durch Lugano, Hunger kommt auf und das erst beste Lokal auf dem Platz wird angesteuert. Leider bewahrheiten sich die eher schlechten Bewertungen. Der Salat ist nicht mehr knackig, die Gnocchi verkocht der Mozzarella gummig, auf der Pizza liegen Dosen Pilze, die Carbonara schmeckt komisch kurzum das Essen ist wirklich schlecht. Dass dann auch noch ein Burger vergessen geht, passt ins Gesamtbild. Das Vorurteil, dass Restaurants auf Piazzas oft nicht gut sind, bewahrheitet sich leider wieder einmal."

"During these times of Coronavirus I was looking for a burger delivery and this place is one of the few open and allows the delivery of food. The choice fell on the bombastic with the addition of egg in a Menù with frits and coke. Even if it was delivered, the burger came as it was just served by her counter. "Als mexikanisch-deutsche Familie haben wir Agua de Horchata bestellt . Der Glas war fast halb voll und mit 32 Grad im Schatten und ohne Eis fast wie ein Tee zu trinken. Ojo!!! In Mexiko wird Agua de Horchata immer mit Eis serviert. Vielleicht könnte man das berücksichtigen. Die Salsas waren aus der Flasche so wie die Camarones in der Tostada einfach aus der Packung genommen. Die Garnelen waren nicht mal frittiert oder mit Butter, Salz oder Pfeffer abgeschmeckt. Die Tomatensalsa in der Tastada war schon säuerlich (also Kaputt) und es war nur eine Tostada obwohl in der Menu steht Tostadas (Mehrzahl)Die Bedienung war freundlich aber das hat nicht geholfen, wenn das Essen so schlecht ist, obwohl Quesadillas, Sincronizadas und Tostadas das alles einfachste aus Mexiko ist. Das hat uns nur traurig gemacht."
