"Eine der schlechtesten Pizzen und Nudeln, die ich je gegessen habe. Ich aß hier zum ersten Mal vor etwa einem Jahr, und damals war der Geschmack der Pizza ok, passabel, aber nichts Besonderes, aber der Preis war zu teuer, wenn man bedenkt, was man bekommt. Die einzige Qualität war das Personal. Vor kurzem habe ich Pasta gegessen, und es ist unglaublich, wie sehr die Qualität nachgelassen hat, sehr fettig und geschmacklos, außerdem hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Zutaten nicht frisch waren. Ich habe es noch einmal probiert und die Pizza genommen, aber das Gleiche passierte mit den Nudeln. Außerdem kostete die Pizza 10,50 Euro und die Pasta 11 Euro, definitiv nicht die Hälfte wert. Ich würde es nicht empfehlen"

We were requested to come in 15 minutes earlier in order to ensure our order was served on time. Here started the confusion, we gave our order 15 minutes after arrival and the food took 75 minutes after our order to arrive! The smoothies we ordered were 5€ a pop and were from prepacked bags from a company in Mainz (which was not clearly stated on their menu). The food was expensive for what you get, considering everything looked just store bought. All in all, I really am sorry to say that this place can't be recommended. I wish the new owners luck and hope they learn."

"the restaurant is a new opening in Mainz-Bretzenheim and is located in the middle of the village. it offers lunch (under the week) and dinner.The restaurant is small but very cozy. the two guest rooms (connected by a large open passage) are very appealing and cosy. with good weather there is the possibility to eat out. the kitchen includes dishes from different regions. next to Thai dresses are also burger on the map. interesting also the changing daily menu, which sometimes offers German or Italian cuisine. vegetarians are not too short here. all feeds are also available to take. You realize that the operators are with heart blood. the service is always friendly and flotted. the food is freshly prepared and is very tasty. we already know the owner from the local of his elders in meadowbaden (pattaya.) a part of the Thai courts was taken over from there and the card is supplemented by further courts. "Visited this place with my wife and my colleague (we are here on business trip) today. It seems that this small and cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere in the evening hours is almost always very busy, especially on Fridays and weekends. If you want to visit, make sure you call them a day or two before the date. The place itself is great. The food is fantastic and the wine from local vineyards is wonderful. My advice is that if you do not order locally in the area and you appreciate wine in every degree, do yourself a favor and do not order beer wine! You won't regret it. The menu lists prices of many different wines for glass (200ml), but you can order a bottle if you wish, just ask the waiter for the price. The service we received was very good. It'll be back."

Prices for Suppen (soups) and Vorspeisen (appetizers) delightfully start around 1.50 Euros while the Spezialitäten take off at 6 Euros up. There’s a good variety to choose from as categorized by the main ingredients like Vegetarische Gerichte (Vegetable dishes), Nudelgerichte (Noodles), Reisgerichte (Rice with something else), Hühnerfleischgerichte (Chicken), Knusprige Hühnerfleischgerichte (Crispy Chicken Thighs done in different ways), Rindfleischgerichte (Beef), Schweinefleischgerichte (Pork), Entengerichte (Duck), Garnelen und Tintenfischgerichte (Shrimps and Squids) and the so called Spezialitäten (mixed ingredients). There are only two types of desserts but you probably won’t be craving for any once you’ve downed your food as servings are ala Deutsch (in huge portions). Typical sodas and juices are available as well as wine and other alcohol drinks like beer.A minor caveat to diners, though. It might take a while for your orders to reach your table as the place fills up with hungry patrons and people waiting by the doorway to pick-up their takeaways as all the food are simultaneously prepared. It is obvious that the restaurant is undermanned but again, the nicely cooked dishes can make you forget about the shortcomings. In general, the food’s taste is above the typical, more ubiquitous Asian restaurants around Mainz like Thai Express and yes, there is a long list of dishes on the menu that should entice you to come back many times over."
