Trattoria Peperoncino

the pizza was directly from the super market, it is not recommended to choose the pizza. the rest of the menu looked ok.

The food is decent and home made, agreeable al fresco dining, intimate interior, but the service is at best chilly and indifferent.

during this pandemic we ordered pizza to go, and it was absolutely terrible! tasted like boxed pizza from the freezer on their local market. I'm sorry, I'm not going back. Ver carta

we ordered pasta, which was good, but could have been more. a friend ordered fish with vegetables and potatoes. the fish was burned by one side and she had only two very small kartomas on her teller. the price of 24 euro was. too high. the worst was the service, we waited 80 minutes for our food. the waiter should be more polite.

Arrived as a group of 4, seated quickly. Small area inside but exactly how great Italian restaurants should be. Personal service from the staff. Order food and starters arrived in good time. Clean plates back said all you beed to know. Really enjoyed out Steaks!...Amazing, lovely food and nice place to eat! What more do you need!

the restaurant is located in a small next street of the dazzling place. real Italian people. the prices are very reasonable and the service was very friendly. the quality of food was very good. we were so happy that we booked for the next night. Unfortunately. we had to cancel this reservation. I had the impression that we were the only tourist, all the others were native. Ver carta

I have been going to this restaurant for the past 1.5 years and am absolutely amazed by their ability to keep up the 3*quality of the food. I only come into town for business and they always make sure to have a table (you need...a reservation, the place is quite popular), even on short notice and get creative when it gets to special requests. Wouldn't trade this with any other place in the Frankfurt area! Amazing Food, Amazing Crew.. you will get addicted!!!

We have been here three times. It is a small restaurant and without a reservation, you will need to come immediately when it opens. We had the parmesan fettuccine (Bandnudeln) with fresh truffles and the veal scallopini with a mushroom cream sauce. Both were delicious...but might be a little rich for some diners. There were also several pasta and scallopini dishes with white wine sauce rather than creamy sauces. The chocolate souffle was more what I would call a lava cake than a souffle, but it was rich and flavorful. Wine list is small but good. The service was friendly and the pace of the meal was leisurely (about 1.5 hours for two of us to eat) but not too slow. Very easy walking distance...

Based on past experience we decided to return to Trattoria Peperoncino for dinner and we were not disappointed. Although a cool September evening we sat outside for our dinner. Our server was a most engaging young lady who helped us navigate the menu and was...a complete joy to be around. For starters I had a cream of broccoli soup which was extremely decadent in flavour and taste. My partner had the mouth watering scallops as a starter and we shared the bruschetta which had very fresh tomatoes with a rich balsamic reduction. For my main I had the special ravioli that had a rich sauce with chestnuts infused with truffle oil. My partner had a home made spaghetti which was enjoyed immensely. Y... Ver carta
