"Déjeuner sur terrasse en bois, cadre rustique, dans une ambiance mer. Les huîtres crues sont excellentes, les huîtres gratinées aussi , ainsi que la brasucade de moules avec un superbe goût de feu de bois. Les produits ne sont pas cuisinés avec moult arrangements, vous aurez dans ce restaurant la saveur du fruit de mer authentique. Il faut donc vraiment aimer les fruits de mer pour ce qu’ils sont !"

Des moules suspectes, un plat ne correspondant pas à la commande, une cuisine sans aucun intérêt et un rapport qualité prix assez mauvais font que nous n'y retournerons pas malgré un patron sympathique. Personnel très gentil mais pas de sourire et pardon quand on s 'appelle Moule et compagnie et Que l 'ont sert des moules cuites et re-cuite... Du carton.. Alors que 10 min de cuisson sans compter à l 'eau à la marinier ? Il est est où le vin blanc le persil le céleril. cuire 3 heures des moules dans l eau pas besoin de payer cher.. "We used to frequent Chez Phillippe a lot under the previous patron, whose use of ingredients and flair of presentation made each visit a joy of discovery and was good value for money. We visited again and found it had changed hands and whilst the new patron was very pleasant and had, we were told done a hand over so similar dishes could be offered- we found it not so good.The flair was lacking now- we used to enjoy all the little glasses and dishes which made up each menu item, but the menu was much more plainly delivered now. Not bad food, but not as exciting.One thing we did feel was poor was our dessert stated on the menu that it came with icecream, but this was not provided- we asked and it was sent with apologies that the chef forgot- however, a few minutes later another customer was served the same dessert - again with no icecream- it seemed as though the maximum profit was being squeezed out of the menus.The location and the out door dining under the big trees is still attractive but we will give it a miss in future as there are other better value places to eat out there."

"The food is okay, but their burgers are not enjoyable. Really dry and sauce doesn‘t taste good. But their service is horrible. We were waiting very long for our food and the waiters are not really friendly. We went there to eat and spend over 300€ and tipped them good. Then, afterwards when we passed the restaurant after checking out the area and entering some shops, one of us had to go to the toilet but they didn‘t let us even though they knew we were there before. They said it‘s only for customers and the women working there in the shop was so unfriendly with us and so arrogant and she is treating the customers with 0 respect. I don‘t recommend to give this restaurant/shop a visit.."

"A dreadful wet and windy day in Marseillan, the first restaurant we passed was full to the rafters with guests, this one was totally 100% empty, all we wanted was a coffee and hot chocolate, I asked the wIter if this was ok, he grunted and pointed to the only inside table which wasn't set for lunch, ( i.e. 2 glasses and a knife and fork ) . Coffee and hot chocolate was good but they need to drastically improve their service and look at their neighbours restaurant and find out what brings in customers!, oh yes I know a warm welcome!!"

"Très bon restaurant de poissons et fruits de mer, nous sommes allés 2 fois en une semaine, les fruits de mer étaient délicieux et d'une fraîcheur absolue, beaux à regarder et bons à manger, c'est autre chose que ce que nous trouvons par chez nous. Le décor est sympa, le service aussi et si vous en voulez encore tous les matins un espace est ouvert ou vous pouvez déguster ou emporter huîtres, bulots, etc..."

"Lovely and friendly service. prices are worth the cost and are quite correct. dishes are delicious, if you don't like seafood or fish too much, they also have meat and salads. I'll give it to you! We were a big table and we all had a nice time. more you can eat on the terrace that is covered by large windows. it overlooks the sea is a beautiful view especially in summer on a late day. Just think about booking in advance, not a few days but at least one week see a week and a half because they are very requested, and we can understand why!"

"Nous avons très bien mangé. La cuisine est simple mais les produits sont frais (et notamment les produits de la mer). Nous avions peur de tomber dans un piège à touristes mais c'était tout le contraire. Le service était vraiment de qualité. Le responsable de la salle est très attentif et gère très bien le service. Beaucoup de serveurs. Une très bonne ambiance générale et un prix défiant toute concurrence. Juste une remarque: les pizzas sont vraiment trop grandes et il n'y a pas beaucoup de monde qui arrive à les finir, du coup c'est un peu dommage pour le gaspillage."
