"My husband and I visited this restaurant at the end of June, and I have been meaning to write about it ever since, but never found the time to do so. Now I have just noticed these negative reviews on TripAdvisor and wish to set the record straight, as I do not agree with them at all. We went to the restaurant early one evening (around 19.15), sat on the terrace outside with no problem, without having reserved a table (admittedly, there were hardly any customers in the restaurant at the time), were served well and had a delicious, authentic Italian meal (and we know a lot about Italian food as we lived in Italy for many years). I too had a buffalo mozzarella pizza with rocket (I think they call it 'arugula' in the US), which I thought was delicious (another reviewer complained about the mountain of 'salad' on the pizza, but that's what it's supposed to be like, and in Italy people love rocket on their pizzas!) and my husband had Melanzane (aubergines) alla Parmigiana which, again, was delicious. We also had two desserts, which we very much enjoyed. It was fairly expensive, but it was clearly of a better quality, and with a better menu, than the other Italian restaurants on the same street (that's why we chose it in the first place, because we liked the genuine Italian menu). So I have no complaints and can only recommend it. If you want Italo-French food there are plenty of places for that already. If you want proper Italian food, this is the place."
