"Wir wollten heute Abend spontan zum Griechen und haben nach einer Alternative gesucht. Nachdem wir telefonisch nach einem Tisch gefragt haben, wurde uns gesagt, dass wir doch einfach vorbeikommen sollen. Dort angekommen wurden wir weder empfangen noch begrüßt. Wir sind an die Theke und haben gesagt, dass wir angerufen haben und es wurde nur genickt. Wir standen dort einige Minuten bis eine Kellnerin kam und uns sagte wir sollen warten. Sie sah extrem unfreundlich aus und hat uns dann mit einem Handzeichen an den Tisch gerufen. Wir haben uns total unwohl gefühlt, weswegen wir das Restaurant verlassen haben. Echt schade, dass man hier sich als Südländerin nicht willkommen fühlt."

"my wife and I have ordered a fish plate for two people.It was brought a fish plate with a wrong supplement and an salat was missing. the unordered supplement was taken back and after a minute we heard that we had to pay for the fish plate for three, he would have nothing to give. so we learned that we had wrongly brought a plate for three. the we mentioned we had said we had to know that this was a plate for three and that all in high volume.After we had just started eating the fish dishes we left the plate back and left it locally. we have not experienced such a complaint in any restaurant. we cannot judge the quality of the kitchen, as we were not allowed to eat a minute, but as a restaurant this is a flop. "Been here with colleagues. First of all, you should be aware that Ethiopian food is eaten without fork and knife, use your fingers only, and share the plate. "I live just around the corner of this place and go as much as I can. The place has a very nice atmosphere, reinforced with some good selection of jazz music diffused by the speakers. They are always very friendly with children, offer a few children books that they can look at while waiting for the meal.I regularly travel to Japan and this is one of the very few places in Dusseldorf that don't Germanize the Japanese food by adding too much flavour: the delicacy of the original flavors is retained. An extra mention is reserved for the Kara Aga (fried chicken). I didn't eat any better than this in the West. Be aware that this restaurant adheres to the Japanese spirit, they concentrate and specialize on a limited number of items and they thrive for perfection on these. The menu doesn't have a large selection but should be enough to satisfy most tastes."

"we visited the restaurant rohbau yesterday for the first time and certainly not for the last time. the service was very attentive and friendly. everything in all just top-class. that eat very well. to the appetizer we had filled red prayer with ricotta and walnuts. as a greeting from the kitchen there was an olive rosemary pizza. both was excellent. our ordered pizzas were also record-worthy good. the ingredients were all fresh and it just tasted excellent. especially the Red Bete pizza is highly recommended: the combination of red bete, melone and goat fresh cheese is barely to beat. Overall we had a very nice evening in a beautifully decorated restaurant with super service and food!Many thanks for this, dear Rohbau team!"

"I had dinner with the family in the manju, one of us is vegetarian. there was a great choice, we have taken the mixed pakoras as appetizer, which I can highly recommend (the pakoras are crispy and tasty and the sauces are also really good) and 5 main dishes. they are all very tasty, we had two sharp dishes, a mild dish, a slightly sweeter dish and a vegetarian dish (also mild). it was all good with something sabzi, the sabzi came in a separate bowl. eating was delicious and as already mentioned, there are many dishes that also vary in their sharpness or sweetness. for vegetarian there is a good choice. we were all very satisfied with eating, so we decided at the end to another vegetarian dish, so we could all share it, we took biryani. the biryani was average, it wasn't as good as the other dishes, but it wasn't bad either. However, if they go there, which I think is a good idea, I recommend to them to take one of their sabzis, it was not listed as sabzi in the menu, I think they are like menus (for example chicken bhuna menu), but I am not quite sure. in any case great eating!"

"Having told a business associate that I would be passing through Duesseldorf, he told me that I had, to visit A Tavola for the carbonara Checking it out first on TA, I saw mixed bag of reviews, with most positive on the food but often...negative on the service. There were higher-rated options for me but I chose to go anyway. Well...let me tell you...they must have done competitors writing these negative reviews to undercut them - because I couldn't have been more pleased with the food, wine, or service. I am not what you might refer to as an easy customer, either. I was met at the door by lovely hostess who indicated they would find a spot for me in the crowded dining area. Handed of to the manager I was seated at a long family style table with other guests. Everyone seemed to be quite happy and enjoying their time on this busy Friday evening. So, to the point...I started with the tomato and burratta salad (delicious), then the carbonara (truly marvelous...ask for it if you don't see it on the menu), along with moderately-priced bottle of a really nice Amarone. Could not have been better. Taste, portions, service...all A+. And, to set the record straight...a wonderful team who work in excellent collaboration to take care of customers."
