"I was recommended to this Restaurant by the owner of the Airbnb I was staying in in October. This is a family run Restaurant that has been established for many years. They clearly take their work seriously as the quality of the food and ingredients is excellent. Cost is not excessive given that you are getting a highly professional experience from both kitchen front of house."

"We were in Otronto for 8 nights and this restaurant was definitely the best meal we had whilst there. Food was sublime, very creative fresh and tasty meals. We received complimentary champagne and an appetizer... delicious. Service is outstanding very friendly, helpful and genuine. The variety of different breads are on a whole new level, amazing !! "Per chi conosce le barche il nome di questo locale è già un invito irresistibile in grado di soddisfare pienamente le aspettative. L’ho trovato chic nella sua semplicità, nel suo essere un locale sul mare non scontato, ma anzi con un suo specifico carattere e soprattutto superbo menu. "Very reduced menu to the minimum terms. Very little choice to be in a seaside place. We ate in four by taking a linguine in the drain (salatissimi), a plate of zucchini pastries, shrimps and fondue (salatissimi), a capocollo and burrata appetizer and a mixed salad (which only brought us green without any other ingredients and left us in the account at the price of the mixed one). Very high prices in relation to the given service. The waiter specifically told us he was just a friend of the boss and not working there. I would recommend to increase the choice of fish being in a sea resort and honestly also to review the prices since we had a pretty high account compared to the prices of competition around."

"small local at the foot of a tower in the historic center of otranto. we stopped in the city for a lunch on the fly, we wanted to spend little and eat well: we were partly satisfied. we took a mixed fried of squid and shrimp, and assorted pectoral, both delicacies served in a cone of absorbent paper: No plastic and an eye on the environment. we spent 14€, of which 10 for the mixed fried. in our opinion, a little excessive the cost related to the amount of food, but honest if understood in terms of quality."

"Fresh sea food, very good service, very good chef. They would do everything for you to have the best dinner in town. It was a very-very nice and tasty dinner, not far from the croweded centre of Otranto. One evening before, we went to one of the most recommended restaurants on TripAdvisor...no so happy at all, it wasn't bad, but it was actually all about plating the food.....but here, at Alla Risacca, we will be back for sure for good people and very good quality of food."

"Home food, simple and tasty like it has to be when you visit a farm. We were glad to be there for dinner in the garden beside the house. The menu is based on veggies and meat. The dessert was the only disappointing point with its pasticciotto ice cream, but it is quite normal in restaurants that the dessert is not at the level of the main courses. Recommended."

Fra le note negative devo confermare che effettivamente qualcuno (ma non tutti) fra i componenti lo staff non indossa la mascherina. Non è ovviamente giustificabile, anche se poi guardandosi in giro ci si accorge che almeno il di chi passeggia in assembramento ad Otranto non lo fa. Io ho assaggiato un paio di antipasti di pesce ed anche la pizza, tutto era ottimo. Un po' di confusione c'era, ma legato all'importante viavai di clienti, ed è stato gestito dal personale senza ritardi o errori alle nostre ordinazioni.Vista sul castello di Otranto meravigliosa."

"This restaurant is about a 5 min walk away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, but what a find. There was nothing I could fault with this place. The service was excellent and the food was 1st class. We visited the restaurant twice during our stay and we both tried something different from the menu each time and neither time were we disappointed. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food was cooked to perfection. The beef in onion and red wine was divine and the cold meat and cheeses for the antipasti, along with the house red went down a treat. Price wise you could find cheaper in town, but not for the same quality. Well worth the visit."

"Staff were welcoming and the Outside area of the restaurant Is well set up. T he local white Chardonnay was very drinkable and served nicely chilled. The food was lovely. If I had one criticism it would be that the pork fillet tasted slightly overdone. Overall a lovely atmosphere and great unobtrusive service. Marked down a little on location as it’s not on the best road a little noisy. But it was good to sit outside. Inside the restaurant looked lovely."
