"I reviewed this restaurant after our vist in 2014, and this year we made a special trip to have lunch there on a miserable October Sunday, though it was at least 20km out of our way (which, according to the Michelin Guide, makes it a two star place! . We settled for just two primi piatti, having in mind to eat a tasting menu in Lucca that evening, and were very pleased not to have ordered more, as the portions were enormous — and the tasting menu had to wait until the following day. Both the dishes (spaghetti with prawns and spaghetti with lobster were bursting with flavour, but the lobster dish was simply sensational... a respectable amount of lobster in the shell, at the unbelievable price of 12€. Though we had to wait a good while for our food, we were advised of the delay on our arrival, and were promptly served our drinks order with the exhuberance we had enjoyed on our previous visit, and the reason for the slow service was evident... half of Pisa was there for their Sunday lunch. My only regret — that I didn't give this place 5 stars after our previous visit — don't get me wrong, this is not fine dining, but if you like seafood and pasta you will not be disappointed. I already know our order when we are next in the area... Spaghetti with lobster, and spaghetti with langoustine, to mix and match. I can still taste the flavours now, two weeks afterwards (at least in my mind's eye!"
