"We live quite close to The Albany but its location means we don't walk or drive past it within our normal routine, so it hasn't been front of mind. However, having not been there for years, we thought we should check it out. We went for Sunday lunch today and both the beef and the chicken roasts were very good. Meat and vegetables all perfectly cooked. We'll be back."

"The experience at The Adelaide was excellent Great friendly customer service, Me and my mates felt really safe here, They are strict on the rules but we liked that as it made us feel more comfortable when moving around to go to the...toilets or being shown to our table. The service is fast, even when extremely busy. Food is always good, my personal favourite was the Open Burger but my mates always love the Pies they do too. All in all, a cosy and friendly environment with great service from start to finish. Great choices of ales and larger too. I highly recommend the Whistable Bay ale, It's one of my favourites when visiting The Adelaide and my friends love everything about this place too. We will definitely be coming back here more often, it's our loveable local pub!"

"Started off the evening at the steak house with a couple of cocktails. Preferring the rhubarb blush over the Hennessey julep as that needed a bit more sweetness to be as good as the other. We then went for the steak tartare which had a...duck egg ontop which made all the difference and the scallops with mango puree and red pepper as a shared starter which were both fantastic. When I go back next time I'm still ordering both as I could never decide which one was better than the other. After the starters we both decided on going for the gaucho sampler which consisted off four different steaks. Rib eye, sirloin, fillet, and rump. The truffle in the side order of Mac and cheese was great the only complaint being I didn't order two of them. One wasn't enough for two people to share. The board was a great way of serving the steak but to be left with blood on the table wasn't great. Quickly attended to by Petya which smoothed everything over as if nothing had happened. We then finished the meal with a belter of a dulche de leche cheesecake and i would go back again just for that. The marshmallow made all the difference just a tiny bit more of it on the plate and it would have been perfect. Throughout the meal we experienced a top level of service from Petya. She was nice and attentive as well as being knowledgeable. Also she let us take our time in deciding what we wanted but at the same time she was experienced enough to let us enjoy the meal and even convincing us to go from a rare steak to medium rare seeing as some of the steaks on the sampler were better that way. Top job and thanks very much for making our evening. Petya is a great worker for the company to retain and is a worthwhile investment for the management team in Gaucho Richmond in the future. Will definitely be returning on a day where we can have a few more cocktails as there was too many to go for and then drive home and try and few different things from the superb wine list and other items off the menu such as the swordfish or the lambshank and hopefully the sampler doesn't win us over again. For anyone near Richmond it's a great place for an amazing array of steaks and a definite visit if you haven't already. Great food, great team, great atmosphere just a shame there isn't any parking near by."

"I have used Monafs for many years, not frequently as I am disabled and they didn't deliver. I was delighted when they started offering delivery not long ago. I normally have a Special Thali which I find superb. However, the last 2 orders have not been good, particularly the last one. I got duplicated dishes 2 cauliflower bhajis and 2 identical lamb dishes. So much for variety. However, the one inexcusable thing was the replacement of the single, large tandoori king prawn with tiny prawns as used in prawn patia roti. No explanation or apology. I consider this to be bordering on dishonesty and will not use Monafs again unless I get an explanation."

"After visiting the “Love my Human” dog cafe in Chelsea, I wanted to check out the other dog cafes in London. I fell In love with Paws for Coffee. They have homemade treats, puppuchinos, stuffed calf’s hoofs, dog sausages my dog loved them all! The indoors is decorated with a consistent dog theme throughout, even in the loo! They have photos of dogs that have visited the cafe inside which is a very cute touch. The food from the human menu was delicious, we had the veggie breakfast and some great coffee. The vibe is laidback, non pretentious and very summery. Also right by Hampton Court gardens. The staff are very very friendly too!"

"Tiffany is absolutely amazing. Even with everything going on, she still makes a pub environment feel safe and enjoyable. It is so nice to see someone take so much pride in what they do to keep a business going. There is not a bad word i could say about this pub. Everything is clean and tidy, even prior to COVID, it has always been the way here with her running it. For the food, what can i say.... i have never had a bad meal here, Friday night, cant beat the nachos, Sunday, i cant say i have ever had a better roast in a pub/restaurant. As for the AJ pies, if you haven’t had one, you NEED to try one. All in all, i would highly recommend this pub, wether it is for food or drink. All staff are so friendly and welcoming, but Tiffany is by far is the best manager of a pub i have come across and there is never a dull moment being here."

"At Three Kings, the rules seem to be optional. During the half hour we spent there yesterday, over 10 people walked in without checking in, sanitizing their hands, or wearing masks. The staff cheerfully served them at the bar while engaging in conversation. Nobody was reminded of the safety regulations. When I mentioned this to the manager, he stated that it wasn't his responsibility to enforce the rules. It's concerning considering that Richmond has the highest COVID infection rate in London."

"the birthday of my sohnes is not for a few weeks, but with my daughter who lives in worcestershire, planned celebrations, etc., the logistics of organizing a family together to celebrate jonathan's birthday meant an early start. but then who is not happy to start celebrating early!. I have suggested that we all go to corto italian deli and remember the wonderful birthday meal they offered for me last year. corto is a family lover, we go there a lot: for morning coffee, lunch and buy Italian dishes like their wonderful cold meat, cheese, pasta and homemade cakes, and the favorites of the family - taralli."

"Go to Google for the real reviews on this poor place. £60 for a god awful afternoon tea that includes stale sandwiches and cheap filing. Absolutely nothing like the advertised material which has brioche rolles, beaguttes. This was a really poor tea. No tarts, éclairs, compote..just some cheap tiny cakes. The restaurant service is as bad as it gets. Plenty of staff but it's like managed by donkeys. How did this take 30 min to come out? I literally could've gone to the local supermarket and bought the ingredients, made it within that time and it wouldve been much higher quality. How they can misadvertise and think close to £60 for an afternoon tea of this quality to beyond embarrassing. It was seriously close to school dinner. Have a look at the photo."

"This is the first time we have visited this year and we have been pleasantly surprised. We started off with a crisp pint of Aspalls, clean lines and glasses. Delicious. Then we weighed up where to move to for food. Spotted the new menu and could not help ourselves but to test what we felt were the best bits. Absolutely delighted with the Drunken Prawns, Calamari with Pineapple salsa, Ham Hock Terrine, Courgette and Broad Bean, fries and a Chicken Schnitzel. Struggling to pick a favourite but if you judge it by which dishes involved us pushing each other’s fingers away, it would have to be the Calamari. There was definite finger fighting going on. Well worth a visit. Too full to choose other dishes to try, will absolutely return."

"there are few places in these days that have great service and first class kitchen. to the happiness is one of them. from the man on the door with his dry humor to the courtesy staff it was beautiful from beginning to end. the tapas were...reasonable also with just coming under and cocktails around all quite reasonable coming bill time. the miniburgers and chorizo roles were beautiful. I would recommend five between two on the tapas front. we went after five for a bonus two and it was a bridge too far! also a mini-choc dessert was really practical to complete the meal. beautiful place, atmosphere and personal. an absolute gem."

"I looked up ‘the best cafe in Teddington’ and I was disappointed. At £3.60 a latte this is above average pricing, milk was way too hot for a latte, coffee was ok and the service was disinterested. Will try second best next time. Sorry, 3stars from me."

"Right. The food here is amazing. So fresh, full of flavour and delicious. The staff were fab. We wanted to take our time and have a relaxing Sunday afternoon meal. They let us order course by course rather than ordering everything at once. The cocktails too, were great. I had the house one and it was delicious. Unfortunately, some of the clientele let this place down. First, we had a table with an extended family behind us. They had obviously been in the pub a while and the children were getting bored and restless which isn 't the children 's fault. They were running around the pub, almost colliding with waiting staff on several occasions. One child decided it would be fun to run at the back of the bench seat we were sitting on and crash into it. All the adults in the group did was to threaten to leave for about an hour. Finally they left, thank goodness! Then arrived a very loud, crass man who only seemed to be able to speak at shouting level. At no point did any of the staff or management speak to any of these customers, and considering we were in the 'restaurant ' section of the pub, you would have thought they would want their diners to have a better experience. My advice would be, definitely order takeaway."

"visit cafe zizou is a real pleasure. the staff is immediately friendly, and they are also welcomed by the varied and interesting selection of cakes, of which I choose a caramel button. I decent disc that is not too sweet, but could be a bit more generous on the chocolate upstairs. my mother's cappuccino is on, of her as exceptionally well described, with a lot of foam. the tee of my father is a beautiful golden color, probably thanks to its pot with two tees bags, how very generous! Overall we really like it. I would come back and try one of their french town themen sandwiches, or their freshly pressed lemon juice. cafe zizou is a truly authentic unpretentious French caffe. How great is her work of art?"

"Absolutely love Cafe Toscana, have been going there for years. Makes no difference if you’re picking up a takeaway coffee or having a leisurely lunch you are still warmly welcomed. Always a delicious choice either from the regular menu options or the ever changing specials Besa comes up with. My son particularly loves the beef lasagne... I thought my homemade version was amazing but he tells me it’s just not as good as Besa’s. Have to say I can’t be offended as I’ve tasted it as well and it’s wonderful."

"Visited The Tap Tavern recently because friend B used to go there in his misspent youth in the 70s and wanted to see his old stamping ground. It was mid-afternoon and completely empty (so we were pleased it was open and serving), so one could hardly say there was any atmosphere. Very nice beer, a generous bowl of mixed nuts, and pleasant serving staff. Apparently the place had changed over the intervening half century (including its name) but the perilous ascent up rickety wooden stair to the loos I guess has not changed! Be careful if you're infirm! Otherwise it's a place I'd happily recommend."

"Chelsie was such an amazing waitress. She was so attentive had great recommendations. I was celebrating for my 21st and she truly contributed to the best birthday ever. Couldn’t be more complimentary of our night here, and would fully recommend. Thank you for a great night !"

"we booked this restaurant before phone and when we stopped, we refused to book. they could not fit us in and it was Mother's Day, so it was difficult to find an alternative at short notice. this time I booked through open table to avoid the same happening again. when we arrived, they had no record of our booking! but because they were not busy, they gave us a table. we asked about the dessert option of a milk-free child, and they said they had none. When I asked if we could have a reduction on the price of the child meal, they went away and came back to say that they actually have mango sorbet. the cheese on the pizzas that were ordered for both adults was not very nice and we were disappointed by our meal. overall they seem quite disorganized and eating is not good enough to overlook this. therefore I would not recommend this restaurant."

"Took my mum to this restaurant in Richmond and we had a really nice evening. When we first arrived our outdoor table booking was not available but Mike very kindly sorted us out and we got the table we booked. Throughout the evening we got really great attention from the very friendly staff and they made our evening. We had the steak and fries and the ice cream from the 2 course menu. The steak is very thin and nothing special but the fries and ice cream were excellent and overall we felt it was good value for money."

"We are regulars and decided to try their Sunday sharing roast. The good: the chicken was great. Succulent and tasty. The dauphinois side with bacon and cheese was also very nice. The bad: the steak was chewy and cold, as were the sauces. The pork belly portion was mean, the veggie side was tiny. Not even enough for one person. The odd: we had to ask for plates as if we were expected to both eat directly off the small serving wood block. We got side plates which were too small. In summary, not something we will be having again. It felt a bit expensive for what we got. If everything was hot and the portions a little larger, it would have been fine."
