"This was a revisit as I had to cancel my initial reservation. My partner, sister, and I were excited for dinner at the Rose Inn, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We arrived early and enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden. However, upon entering the restaurant, we had to wait in line to be seated at the table I had reserved. Once seated, we were not informed how to order food, so we waited for someone to take our order. After some time, I had to inquire at the bar and was told there would be at least an hour wait for food. Despite mentioning my reservation, the response remained the same. Another customer had already left due to the long wait. The waitress's attitude was unhelpful and impolite. I would not return or recommend this place. The price for two wines and a coke was nearly £20. I usually don't write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in this instance. I have received multiple emails from the restaurant in recent weeks, but since leaving on Saturday, I have not heard from them. This speaks volumes."
