"The last Christmas dinner of the Muckerin, the Mucker and the associated man and the related women had taken place in the Alte Brauerei on 8.12.2016 (see report . 2017 (08.12. had we visited the Russian oligarch in the St. Ingberter Villa Almarin and in the past year (19.12. we had boarded in the Saarbrücker Gasthaus Hierl; I have also reported on this at the same time. As always, proposals were submitted at the beginning of October regarding this year's location; The old brewery had made the race while my favorite Spaniard had only gone through the finish. However, I will propose it again next year, with a favourable examination being given to me last night. Unfortunately, in the past few days the freck (for non-Saarland: a severe cold to the massive flu in our ranks had quite dared. So it came that this time we were able to hold our Christmas dinner with only one mug and four mugs as well as the associated Lord and the three related women, which was a pity. Nevertheless, the mood at the table was excellent and we had a lot of fun. The old brewery is still considered one of the first addresses in Sankt Ingbert in terms of food and drink. Especially since last December the operator and chef in the choir of the Maître Cuisiniers de France (worldwide 500 members, where Mr.Dauphin and a cook from Munich are the only two German title holders, he has earned himself for years to spread the French cuisine. Sic. In terms of service, you can also play here in the first league: absolutely professional, at the same time very friendly without having to look impressive. Unfortunately, a problem remains the availability of toilets for guests sitting in a wheelchair; the curved staircase with many steps into the lower vault makes the toilet walk impossible for them, because there is no elevator and who likes to be brought to the toilet in the gamstrage grip. Even I could not visit the brewery with one of my grandchildren sitting in a wheelchair. Food and drink: The menu can be found on the homepage [here link] they are now almost always the current stand: 4 appetizers (EUR 14,50 EUR 24,50 , 2 soups (EUR 9,50 EUR 14,50 , 5 main dishes (EUR 14,50 EUR 35,50 , 2 salads (EUR 4,50 EUR 12,50 , 3 fish or Meeerese dishes (EUR 24,50 EUR 30,50 , 2 specialties (EUR 19,50 EUR 34,50 and three menus (business menu EUR 19,50, day menu 1 EUR 36,50 and day menu 2 EUR 59,50 . Unfortunately, the wine card is still not accessible on the Internet; very bad. However, my personal desire for wine is already in advance; Should there not be this wine, I would have to reorientate myself. The service management assured me, however, that this wine, which is also very good for many other guests, would always be ordered in time and, if necessary, would be personally picked up in nominal terms. As always, I could not keep everything that was drunk at the table, this applies both to the cremants and to the red wines and their prices. It was easier this time with food; only the woman of a co-mucker danced here with her order from the row, all other guests at the table chose the same menu. My wife, yesterday with driving service, first drank her usual averna (EUR 3.10 and then another alcohol-free Franciscan wheat (EUR 3.90 ; in my case it was first an alcohol-containing Franciscan yeast wheat (EUR 0.5l 3.90 and then two glass Grauburgunder (0.2l EUR 6.90 from Karl Petgen winery). This Grauburgunder is for me exactly as a safe bank as the Riesling of Petgen Dahm; in both wines, you can make absolutely nothing wrong. As already mentioned, I cannot say much about other drinks at the table (Cremant, Merlot, Montepulciano and mineral water. The daily menu 1 for EUR 36,50 was, as already mentioned, the hit at our table: Fried scampi on red wine butter, with cauliflower puree Iberico pork fillet in Pommery Senfkruste, with Chicorée Champignongemüse and married Nougat Crême Brulée. Previously, there was a small glass of graypes, table laces and horseradish as a greeting from the kitchen, as well as a kind of Bonsai cheese biscuits; very picant and absolutely harmonious. Very tasty also the first gang, with a house like the brewery simply wouldn't have to call it shrimps as scampi from my point of view. Either way, the sea dwellers were absolutely cooked to the point; I would have liked to have had more of it, especially since I did not know it in combination with red wine butter. Perfect the Iberico pig; also here the cooking point hit wonderfully, very great the married, the chcorée Champignongemüse I would not have missed if it had not been on the plate. When eating the Nougat Crême Brulée, I forgot that I don't really like Nougat. That's something to say. Up. Our Ausreisserin had ordered himself as an appetizer Lauwarme Paté en croûte (Schwein und Lamm mit Onion Confit und Sommersalat (yes is the summer again? for EUR 14.50 and as a main dish (choice beef cheeks and vegetables of the season, plus roast potatoes (EUR 24.50). When her appetizer was served, she was amazed and moved to the service manager for a short time; under Paté they had presented themselves with the usual puffy nobles (finned with pistachios, nuts, chilischotes, mushrooms, etc. While Paté en croûte ( Alsace drivers know this is a ragout in the pastries or bread pastry coat. After clarity had been created in this respect, she consumed her appetizer with great pleasure and found only praise for the cattle cheeks. In total, we were once again satisfied with the commandments here. Conclusion: There may be more band Christmas dinners here; I hope that my Spaniard will be here in 2020."

"a recommended reservation. in this year 2017 were already twice in vain there, as we did not reserve, or previously called to ask if there is still space for two people.Ambiente: put a space of approx. 8-10 meters high, filled with boilers and tubes and other furniture or equipment, which you need to brew beer. the odour of the maic and obviously motivated co-workers who whisper around a successful beer to give the taste that makes it unique. this hall now empty with a one in the middle somewhat a meter high podest with tables and chairs and around this podest, on the outside are then tables for approx. 4-5 persons placed. all very welcoming and also true to detail, since some superb of the items required for the brew still convey the certain something. This is the former house, empty and very stylishly furnished, now serving as the name of the gastronomy, it offers space for estimated 60 - 80 people. The next room is absolutely and without scorching to offer the 3 - 4 very well eaten the prices kept in the appropriate frame and the services were also very friendly, though not always with eye contact, which meant the one or the other the laune. because if I have to wave 3 x until someone comes and picks up the order for more drinks, this is about great gastronomy, so let's say 3 times too often. here I would consider a little more attentiveness of the services as desirable. For example, in passing, ask briefly whether it may be anything, whether it is her or his table or not. Also the two-times when you visited the restaurant without reservation, had the taste of "what do you think they are, without reservation, without appearing in our etablissement, so really!" seemed arrogant to me. for it is also different: as for example, the people of table 14 are equally ready when they are willing and have a 1/4 hour time, they can take a freshly tapped beer at the counter. I'll save them the table before. is that okay for her? Very friendly, is very laborious and leaves the gast's decision, even clever."
