"Wohlfühlfactor von A-Z!Ich war mit einer Freundin zu Besuch.Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Abend im Igniv. Wir haben uns durch das grosse Menü mit Trüffel und begleitenden Weinen geschlemmert.Das sharing-konzept war uns bis zu diesem Abend in der gehobenen Küche noch neu, aber es hat uns überzeugt.Es war foodporn auf höchstem Niveau.Jeder Teller war einzigartig und stilvoll angerichtet.Das Highlight des Abends war das candybuffet, welches ein krönender Abschluss des sehr gelungenen Abends darstellte. "Was wir als Restaurantgäste jedesmal als sehr störend empfinden: Inhaber sitzen mitten im Lokal am Tisch, so dass man zwingend daran vorbei gehen oder besser, sich fast vorbeizwängen muss...wir empfinden das als regelrecht unangenehm. Die Freundlichkeit derselben lässt auch zu wünschen übrig. Das Servicepersonal ist hingegen sehr kompetent und zuvorkommend freundlich und die Pizzoccheri seit ganz vielen Jahren die besten weit und breit. Die Preise allerdings eher gehoben."

"In der Zwischenzeit haben sich die Besitzer von Pur albs gemeldet und sich entschuldigt. Es sollte in Zukunft besser klappen! Was den Lieferdienst Planzer anbelangt, werden sie vermehrt Einfluss nehmen um die Kundenwünsche zu beachten. Wir sind mit ihnen so verblieben,dass wir Pur Apls noch eine Chance geben und eine Bestellung machen werden. Leider hat das zweite Mal die Lieferung durch Planzer nicht geklappt. Obwohl wir bei der Bestellung darauf hingewiesen haben,dass man sich bei uns melden soll. Auch auf unser Mail an Pur alps wurde keine Antwort gegeben.Wir werden keine Weine mehr bestellen ."

Einzig der Service wird den Preisen im oberen Segment gerecht, ist stets zur Stelle und beinahe etwas übermotiviert. Fazit: gut für ein zentrales Abendessen, jedoch sind die Fertigkeiten des Koches dem edlen Ambiente bei weitem nicht angemessen."

"It was (is? an institution in St. Moritz. Started to go to Pavarotti since some years ago, whenever I visited the region. Always appreciated the fantastic food, the crazy atmosphere that would make us forget that we are in Switzerland, but with a competent and friendly service specially from Pavarotti himself. However, the original owner became absent in the last years and things started to change. At the beginning we (myself and friends who are regular customers accepted the change as a passage of testimony and accepted the differences as a consequence of a new management. Nevertheless since our last visit, we no longer can stand behind the quality of the establishment... Facts: Main dish took 1,5 hour to arrive Although the second waiter was extremely attentious, the first one was alot of talk but very incompetent on the service Food was average compared to the other visits Is the music played getting louder or my hearing is getting worst with the years? I could not hear anything. :,D I truly hope that the place goes back to the quality of the old days and continues to be a magical place in St.Moritz."

"despite the location directly on two roads, it is very quiet in the room with closed windows. I don't know how it's in the summer when someone wants to sleep in open windows. in front of the hotel there is a bus stop and the use of it, the very large bathroom on the other side of the road and all the mountain railways in the region, are free with the guest card, which we found supertoll. the reception was very friendly and also all other employees. the beds comfortable, the glass pane which separated rooms and bathroom and could be transformed with a click into a milk glass, I found original. in the room were offered free fruits and coffee from a nespressokaffee machine and tee. the breakfast buffet was great and you could also order pancakes and other things you might have missed on the buffet. the hotel makes its 4 stars all honor.The dinner as a garni overnight was too expensive. better than the fabricated house shoes that were in the room would have been such flip flops that offer the bathroom for rent, because the fabric shoes are wet in the bathroom/sauna, even if you are tired. for a 4-star hotel we expected that they would also participate in the action of the sbb, which runs until the end of October, which offers a free luggage transport to the hotel and to the house. because we didn't check out that the hotel didn't participate in it, we were late to see if we could have sent the boxes to a neighbor hotel. for the home transport, it worked so by bringing the boxes to the neighborhotel victoria. a wall for us who would like to have taken over the hotel for us. as said: for a 4-star hotel we expect something like this. but it was perhaps embarrassing to have to hand over the competition so that they pay for their home transport. we were on the road with public transport from home."

"For a week's stay in the Engadin, I had lunch here four times. The ride to the chairlift for 2 of these visits was great. The hikes from different points were beautiful. The food was equally excellent and in some cases spectacular.... On a beautiful day, the outdoor seats offer a spectacular view. The views from inside are also great, but without the air and the sun. Service was top notch....friendly, helpful and professional. Tip: book in advance on beautiful days or arrive early (at 12:00 or after 1:30) as the place is a destination. Also ask what the cook thinks is the real special....it will be great."

"we were staying in the hotel for a sports competition, and we decided to use the restaurant most evenings. The menu is quite extensive with lots of typical local dishes and specialities. There are 4 pages of Pizza to choose from and it's very difficult to select, as the one's I've had are superb.They have their own wood fired pizza oven and the chef is constantly busy.The food is excellent as is the service.Good choice of local wines & bier'sHighly recommend you reserve a table in the evening otherwise you could miss out and be disappointed."

"This is a 365 years old farmhouse of Badrutt's Palace Hotel. I’ ve read that there are three restaurants and two bars, all of which are unique in its kind, for a variety of diffrent tastes. Pizzeria Heuboden, an italian rustic pizzeria I’ ve tried and rated. It’ s a warm and family-friendly, two floor restaurant with an original brick oven decorated of wood coverings on wall, floor and ceilings. They have a parking place and need to have a booking even in a week day, is a busy place. Service is just average even all around full of waiters but Italian cuisine food and atmosphere are better. Wine list is humble, also half bottle and glass choises of 6-7 wines you can ask for. I recommend; Pennette pasta with mushrooms Crudo e Rucola Pizza Pizza Dama Bianca Pizza Panna Cotta"

"Situé à l'étage, nous sommes accueillis dans un restaurant typique de la montagne, c'est exactement ce que nous souhations. La salle est spacieuse, claire et bien décorée. En ce début Août nous avons tout de même opté pour 2 fondues de Saint Moritz, excellentes, et du vin blanc Fendant qui va bien avec ce choix.Nous avons été accueillis et accompagnés par Valeria, efficace et agréable avec laquelle nous avons pu échanger en français, ce qui, je dois l'avouer après une semaine à Saint Moritz est assez rare.Le patron est venu saluer toutes les tables, ce qui n'est pas courant non plus. Ce n'est pas grand chose mais ajoute un plus à l'impression générale de ce dîner dont le rapport qualité prix à Saint Moritz me semble imbattable ( expérience d'une semaine matin et soir au restaurant). "Folgende Bewertung bezieht sich auf meinen Besuch vor Ort und meine vor Ort gemachten Erfahrungen. War heute (31.12.2020) Mittagszeit auf der Terrasse. In Folge Corona Massnahmen war nur Take Away erlaubt aber man durfte auf der Terrasse sitzen. Leider wurde die Maskenpflicht vom Personal fast nie korrekt eingehalten. In der Regel hing die Maske unter der Nase oder sogar auch unter dem Kinn. Vor allem auch bei den Küchen Mitarbeitern mehrfach beobachtet. Zudem beobachtet, dass ein Koch zum Anrichten eines Tellers das fertige Fleisch von Hand (ohne Handschuhe) auf den Teller legte.Es gibt scheinbar (hörte ich in einem Gespräch zwischen Angestelltem und bekanntem Gast) jeden 2. Tag eine Kontrolle durch die Polizei; das Verhältnis zwischen Polizei und Chef des Hauses scheint aber sehr freundschaftlich zu sein (Beobachtung da die Polizei gerade das Lokal verlies, als ich kam). Ich vermute, dass da wohl bei der Kontrolle jeweils mehrere Augen zugedrückt werden oder für die Kontrolle ziehen alle kurz die Masken hoch. Zudem brüllt der Chef ständig (ebenfalls mit nicht korrekt sitzender Maske) im ganzen Restaurant umher und gibt seinen Angestellten Anweisungen."

"Das relativ kleine Restaurant ist hübsch mit Holz gestaltet, bei schönem Wetter hat es eine tolle Terrasse! Die Bedienung ist sehr nett! Alles wunderbar, nur das Essen . Der (hausgemachte? Hackbraten war gar nichts ! Praktisch bestehend nur aus Brät, war das Hackbraten? auch das Kartoffelpüree dazu, viel zuviel Butter! Die Heidelbeertorte viel zu süss und kaum Geschmack. Sehr schade! "Please, avoid this restaurant as I was ripped off when asking for the bills. My friends and I ordered a bottle of Chardonnay which was 20euro on the menu. However, the Portuguese waitress brought us a Chardonnay which was double the price without informing us! (50 euro and it was NOT on the menu). When we asked for an explanation, the owner called us "poor people" and offended us. She didn't want to give us the money back.Thus was the worst experience that I had in a restaurant so far."

"before the door the annual road festival takes place. as it is raining unfortunately it is quite full inside and we sit next to a larger group that obviously has a happy evening. After we get used to it, the absence around us no longer disturbs us.The map offers a really considerable selection with great combinations. especially the really above-average selection of vegetarian dresses, many optional vegan, has delighted us.The dishes are well produced, delicious and nicely dressed. no big surprises but a good basis for a relaxed evening with friends or family.The wine selection is solid – from fair to luxurious.The service is attentive and the kitchen is convincingly flotted for the utilisation of the restaurant.Not quite favorable, but for st. moritz quite acceptable."

"Das Ca d'Oro ist ein wahres Juwel der Gourmetküche! Als jemand, der aus den Alpen stammt, war ich begeistert von der alpin-österreichischen Inspiration, die sich durch das gesamte Menü zieht. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich das Gericht „Rote Beete Oona Kaviar“, das mit seiner exzellenten Säure-Mischung an die Aromen meiner Heimat erinnerte. Der „Marinierte Geflämmte Stör“ war ebenfalls ein absoluter Traum, der durch seine österreichischen Einflüsse bestach. Das „Knusprige Perlhuhn“ war eines der Highlights des Abends – die Harmonie zwischen dem jungen Kohl, Sauerkraut und den getrockneten Pflaumen war perfekt abgestimmt. Auch das „Scampo Kalbsherz à la Tafelspitz“ überzeugte mich mit seiner Intensität und einer wunderbaren Umsetzung eines traditionellen Klassikers. Das Hauptgericht, das „Spanische Wagyu-Filet“, überraschte mit spannenden Kombinationen wie Champignon de Paris und salziger Zitrone – außergewöhnlich und zugleich köstlich! Die Desserts waren ein krönender Abschluss: Die „Ziegenmilchschokolade“ mit Kürbis und Hagebutte war außergewöhnlich, doch der „Apfel Zimt“ erinnerte an einen klassischen Apfelstrudel und war das perfekte Finale. Dieses Wintermenü (24/25) ist ein absolutes Muss und macht das Restaurant nicht nur zu einem Geheimtipp, sondern zu einem Ziel, das auch einen Umweg wert ist. Absolute Empfehlung! "Das Restaurant Enoteca im Grand Hotel ist über den sehr eleganten Barbereich in historischer Kulisse innerhalb des Hotels erreichbar. Wir haben hier das Halbpensions Menü die Hälfte unseres Urlaubes einnehmen dürfen. Das Team von Mandy Schleifer besonders der sympathische zu Späßen aufgelegte Kellner waren immer stets für uns da ! Sehr nett und zuvorkommender Service ! Auch konnten wir ohne Probleme unsere Hauptspeise (wahlweise immer Fisch oder Fleisch einen Abend gegen ein Pastagericht eintauschen! Die Menügestaltung war köstlich/ das Highlight jedes Dinners war das Dessert ! Teils sehr aufwändig gestaltet und mit Blattgold dekoriert : Auch die Atmosphäre war jeden Abend sehr angenehm und in einer solch wunderschönen historischen „Ballsaal“Kulisse einfach nur zum Genießen!Ein großes Lob an das Restaurant !"

"We had a great dinner at Da Vittorio, it rivaled the food being served during the St Moritz Gourmet Festival. The attentiveness of the staff and their knowledge of the dishes they served was astounding. From the busboy to the maitre d, everyone was informed...and knowledgeable about the course being served, the ingredients, where they were from and how it was prepared. I can’t imagine the hours of training necessary for that level of skilled staff. Truffles, truffles, truffles!!! It is not surprising that Da Vittorio has received one star and their home resturant in Italy has 2 Michelin Stars. If you truly enjoy food and don’t mind paying for a superior experience in gourmet dining, you will be be pleased. The maitre d is one of the best!"
