Ein Besuch im Da Vittorio lohnt sich in jedem Fall. Das 7 Gang-Degustationsmenue liess keine Wünsche offen. Ein kulinarischer Hochgenuss. Der Service war aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Leider hatte ich so viel gegessen, dass ich am Schluss vom selbstgebackenen Kuchen nur ein ganz kleines Stück bestellt hatte...einfach, aber göttlich!

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, nach der Platzierung im Restaurant kam auch schnell die Menükarte. Nach dem wir ein 5 Gang Menü gewählt hatten, ging es auch schon los mit der Genuss Vielfalt. Mit jeder Speise gab es eine neue Geschmacks Variante. Selbst der Hoteldirektor war kurz da und hat nachgefragt ob alles okay ist. Nur das Dessert fand ich etwas schlicht, aber das ist Ansichtssache. Beim Verlassen des Restaurants wurde man vom Chef verabschiedet.

We had a great dinner at Da Vittorio, it rivaled the food being served during the St Moritz Gourmet Festival. The attentiveness of the staff and their knowledge of the dishes they served was astounding. From the busboy to the maitre d, everyone was informed...and knowledgeable about the course being served, the ingredients, where they were from and how it was prepared. I can’t imagine the hours of training necessary for that level of skilled staff. Truffles, truffles, truffles!!! It is not surprising that Da Vittorio has received one star and their home resturant in Italy has 2 Michelin Stars. If you truly enjoy food and don’t mind paying for a superior experience in gourmet dining, you will... Ver carta
